One of the worst enemys of Mordekaiser. Tristana's range+ her jump make it extremely hard to get to her, even in your ult. Oh, and don't forget her ult aswell so you will never get to her in time. She can easily kill you if you are even if she doesn't suck.
Vayne
The other Nemesis. Self explanatory but here are the reasons. 1. Condemn; 2. True damage; 3. Lots of mobility; 4. Invisibilty through her ult.
Fiora
Fiora is a difficult matchup as she can parry your ultimate and E to stun you back. She also scales pretty good and will also destroy you late game in a 1v1 as she has so much %max health true damage. So try to play aggressive before mid game before she gets her core items. Ban worthy or else ban tryndamere or vayne.
Tryndamere
Tryndamere is one of the few champions who can kill you in your Death Realm. Be careful when ulting him
Ahri
Ahri's charm is annoying for morde as it prevents him from healing and dealing damage. It can be hard. Go for trades after she tries to charm you but fails. As soon as you are 6 you can beat her since she can't escape with her ultimate.
Lissandra
Lissandra can kite you around in lane and also flee from you easily. Fighting her in your Death Realm is hard since she can ult you, snair you and can jump around with her E.
Fizz
Fizz is a hard match up. He can dodge your abilities with his E but you outscale him hard so play safe till late.
Xerath
Xerath is the most annoying champion if he knows how to play against Mordekaiser. He can poke and farm from a safe distance and that's Morde's weak point: He has no range to get to him. Try to E him as soon as he gets to close since you outdamage him easily.
Viktor
Viktor's late game is pretty good but his early game is much weaker than yours. Pull him as hes immobile and run him down
Yasuo
He won't outdamage you. Either in early or late game you are always stronger.
Akali
Same as yasuo, easy matchup.
Sylas
Sylas doesn't have a lot of early damage against Morde. His E gives him a little magic shield which is annoying but doesn't stop you from killing him.
Cho'Gath
Easy matchup at all stages of the game.
Katarina
Very easy matchup, cancel her ultimate with your pull and ult her when she uses her daggers on you as it removes them from the map.
Azir
Annoying before 6. When level 6 ult him when he used up his soldiers since his ult removes them.
Zoe
Zoe has become an easier matchup as she does not have the damage to kill you at all phases of the game as you can just shield yourself with W once she E's you.
Lux
Lux will be annoying till lv6 where you can just ult her and corner her like prey in the shadow realm. If she uses or misses her binding, ult her instantly as it will be a free kill.
Vladimir
Pretty even matchup. Comes down to who is the better player so be confident and play aggressive as his early game is a little weaker than yours.
Syndra
Syndra is annoying in lane and can bully you out of mid. As soon as you reach level 6 you can most likely kill her with your ultimate.
Cassiopeia
Cassio is the same as Syndra. Really annoying matchup if you don't dodge her poison. Try to pull her towards her and Q+Autohit her since you outdamage her with your passive and autohits+conquerorheal.
Ryze
His early game isn't the best. Don't get poked by his E>Q combo since its damage you can easily avoid. The late game is where Ryze shines.
Neeko
Medium difficulty. you can remove her ult when shes channelling so you can beat her in the shadow realm much easier and she will not have anywhere to escape to with her W.
Kassadin
His early game is much weaker than yours so play aggressive but his lv6 is stronger than yours and he outscales you unless you stack magic resist.
Aurelion Sol
Not many people play Aurelion but if you see him don't be scared. You have more damage than him. Just don't miss your E.
Taliyah
Ziggs
Basically the same as Xerath. His skill are easier to dodge. He can poke you on lane and under the tower, sidestep his abilities and try to E him as soon as he gets to close.
Swain
Basically a mirror match. The better player wins. His spells cost a lot of mana, abuse that and you will win.
Orianna
If you can get to her and ult her it will be really good as the enemy team will lose a vital ult but early on will be difficult as she will poke you a lot so play safe till level 6.
Anivia
Anivia has become easier as you can ult her right as she uses her wall and then corner her in the shadow realm.
Brand
He has a lot of damage but has to hit 2 out of 3 abilities to deal damage in lane. Try to go for your E when he misses his W and even better his Q as well.
Heimerdinger
He is stronger early but you are stronger with level 6 as your ult removes his turrets. Try to kill his turrets and as soon as he puts new ones and has no more charges ult him for an easy kill.
Talon
His early is a little stronger than yours but you outscale him hard.
Zed
Ulting him removes his shadows. You have to play safe early on tho as he has some good damage early but you can outscale him with ult and rylai's.
Annie
Annie becomes much easier the longer the game goes as shes meant to burst squishy champion.
Diana
She is pretty strong but don't fear her even tho she can burst pretty heavily. Try to not get hit with her Q and don't get yourself poked down. If she ults you while you have most of your health trade back.
Ekko
He's pretty squishy and his ult will not remove him from your shadow realm. He's pretty good at setting up ganks with W but just ult him or the jungler straight away when he does that.
Zilean
Zilean has become a little easier. You can ult the adc and he will have one less valuable carry to save with his ult. Never ult a zilean he will just ult himself.
Twisted Fate
Twisted fate has become a little easier as hes immobile you can pull him and run him down. You can also destroy him in the shadow realm with ult.
Vel'Koz
If you have a good Vel'Koz against you you lose. You have a better wave clear and have something to punish him for being immobile but he has a lot of damage and a high range.
Veigar
If veigar hits a cage onto some enemies, morde can pull them all into the stun area.
Amumu
Still the best champion to support morde from the jungle.
Talon
According to lolalytics, talon has a high winrate with morde and from games that I have played it seems to be a good combo, you can ult the support so talon can kill the adc since the adc will have no peel.
Udyr
Udyr can stun the enemy so morde can pull them towards you and him so udyr can run him down better.
Karma
Morde goes well with champions that can give him movespeed so he can get in range for his pull, the shield is also nice to make you tankier.
Vi
Vi can ult the enemy so morde can pull them easier and her Q knock is also nice so morde can get in range to get his passive off and run them down. Vi also has problems sticking to targets once she wastes her Q and ult so morde's pull can compensate for that.
Zed
Same with talon, morde can ult the support and zed can kill the adc easier.
Jinx
What makes morde good with jinx is because of tankiness E pull and ult. Morde can frontline well so jinx can stay back line and he can pull enemies towards jinx; if jinx hits her slow then its even easier and lastly ult. Morde ult is the most powerful peeling ability in the game, nuff said.
Yasuo
Actually morde + yasuo combo is legit. If the yasuo is good, he can watch morde's pull since it has a delay and once they get pulled, it will proc yasuo ult since morde's pull is technically a knockup.
Neeko
Neeko should go well with morde as he can pull enemies if they try and run away from neeko ult. Her E makes hitting your pull much easier too.
Janna
You are gona be nearly unkillable with Janna's shielding and healing.

-Easy to learn -No Mana -Can temporarily take one enemy
out of the game -Lots of damage while being tanky -AoE pull with his E
Cons
-Immobile -Easily kited if you miss your E -Skills are easy to dodge
My Opinion
Mordekaiser is one of the most overpowered champions in low elo. He is easy to master for beginners and you get used to him in around 5-10 games.
He has a lot of damage in lane thanks to his passive which a lot of people underestimate hard. Mordekaiser can easily shred tanks with his passive and can even take on assassins and carries.
In my opinion is Mordekaiser one of the easier champions to carry in low elo with. His kit is simple and he is a lot of fun once you get used to who you can fight him with, even if you are behind.
I personally have a lot of fun playing him and love the reactions my friends give me after they see me come out on top in a 1vs3 situation while still being at least at half health and not being fed before at all.
I suggest you try Mordekaiser out yourself. And don't give up if our first games aren't great. Get used to him and abuse him especially in Iron to low diamond elo. In these elos you should have no problem with carrying games on your own.
