I can't tell you how much I hate this Beyblade, Nordic edition. He can just spin out of your W and most likely will come towards you. He can kill your ghouls faster than anything so they will just give him EZ gold. His W will be a death sentence to you since you can't do ANYTHING to get him off you. Spare your W if he decides to engage you with his spin. Play safe and pray for ganks.
I'd prefer you'd most of the time ban him, since he's not very dependent on skill unlike Garen or Renekton
Garen
Garen is a spin-to-win champion. Unlike Trynda, he can't get out of your W but if he lands his Q to you, you can expect for his E and R on you and for the voice "You have been slain!" If your W is on cd you can only run... but Garen runs faster with his Q and you know what happens then... your E cannot slow Garen enough.
Don't push much, try to last lit with your E and if he comes any closer, retreat.
Since Garen is very easy to use, cheap to get and his recent buffs has made him unfair, I'd say for now, ban him most of the time!
Renekton
Same as Garen. Miss your W and you just lost major chunk of your health. But unlike Garen, Rene can get out of you W and just Slice and Dice to you, R, Q, W, AA and you died in one second.
Renekton does require some skill but do not expect that the player will be brain-dead.
Irelia
Can get out of your W, can slow you down, deals a ****-ton of damage. But you are a tank with a shovel. If she knows her job, you're kinda screwed but you can still semi-easily kill her with your Q.
Yasuo
*sigh...* Everyone knows that everybody hates Yasuo players. Most of the time they have absolutely 0% clue of what they're doing if they're on your team, but once there's that one who has played only Yasuo since they began playing lol in the enemy team, they make you want to commit horrifying acts IRL. He can get out of your W, he can escape you even if you hit him with your E with your R up. His wall can SOMEHOW block your Q and after he has done that, he dashes into you, probably whispers in real life "hehe, *snorts* nothing personal kiddo" and just yeets you into the air and ult you and boom, you dead.
The only reason I wouldn't say that Yasuo is an extreme threat is that Yasuo is that character that everyone hates and when someone plays him and the player isn't socially challenged, they suck.
One super effective way to counter Yasuo is to taunt them and suddenly they have the urge to prove themselves to be "the chosen one" and that their 14k hours on Genji in OW and their 8th complete marathon of Naruto binge-watching have impacted their training. Yasuo players have practiced long the ways of the blade since they were a little boy when a horrible tragedy happened when they, players learned that they are...
LACTOSE INTOLERANT!..............
Just play safe, and avoid his whirlwind. Do not push the lane unless he has recalled or died. Never go too far in the lane in case there's a jg ready to gank you.
Your W is useless so pop your ghouls and throw E at it like trying to cleanse the embodiment of pure sin.
Ezreal
So one guy took this once against me. I was NOT prepared for it.
He can dodge your E and W very easily and then just punish you hard.
I'd say your best bet is to flame him like: "new meta?" and other fun stuff like that. Spirit Visage and Adaptive Helm are a must-have!
Illaoi
Really annoying but still winnable.
Just avoid her tentacles and you'll be fine. Don't let her get to your turret because she can just smack that like no-ones business. Since she's melee but her abilities are ranged, she'll try to poke you if you try to farm. Just stand behind your minions and avoid her tentacles. Once she tries to engage, land your W and your E if you have your ghouls up, then poke with Q. She'll try to fight back but back off if she still has a big chunk of health after your poke.
Always have your ult up when you can since The Maiden can help you out really well, especially with your combo.
Gnar
Gnar has made me go "Ugh..." every time I see him get picked. He can slow you down so that's no fun. His range is so long that it is not fun being a melee champ there. Just play safe when he's above half of Rage. Early-game, don't start trading. If he does, back off. Don't let him poke you, he's ranged and for god no one likes ranged top.
Oh and yea, he can get out of your W. If he does, and his rage 'o meter is low, engage. He can't get away from you if you hit him with E and Q.
Nasus
Nasus is like you, at least his Q is. If he slows you down or just wants to get you, use your W and you should be safe. Just don't push too much since he can do a really good switch-a-roo of who's dealing the damage. But if you get him into your W and his R is on cd, go all in!
W, R, E, Q = kill. This is the very famous WREQ ("wreck") tactic :D
This should force him to back off, but don't engage if you're missing too much health.
Akali
Akali in general is just annoying. Her Q has such a short cd that it's just annoying to try to lane against her. Focus on last hitting so you'll be taking minimum damage. Do not pop your ult immediately but when you'll get a gank, pop it.
One really good trick against her is when she hits you with her E. When you can her coming back pop your W right were you stand and you've trapped her. Use your WREQ combo on her when you've trapped her. This can be lethal to her on early-game.
Late-game her damage is substantial so be sure to pick on her quickly or she can just wreck everyone. She is still quite a glass cannon so a normal combo with your ult out, E and Q should do the deed.
Shaco
Shaco's ganks are really annoying. No only is he invisible so a control ward is really suggested. His W and E slows you which can really determine will you die. You can try to save yourself with dropping your W on him, but Shaco's ult is so annoying so there's very slim chances you'll survive if you've pushed too far.
If you can try to take him out before he takes you (DO NOT do this in a 2v1 situation!)
Fiora
A real nuisance. If someone would shove a lemon up to your... you know, she would be the lemon. Do not start trading with her first, wait for her to come to you. At the beginning just try to last hit minions and farm. Don't let her get close to you. Once she uses her Q, you have to use your W to stop her and then put some pressure on her. Get slightly away from your W and go back to her. Press Q but don't hit yet. If she's clever, she will try to parry this so wait for her parry to stop and then hit him and drop your E on her so she has to retreat. If she ults you, USE YOUR W! Your E cannot slow her enough. If you can, always have your ultimate up so she cannot just try to 1v1 since it is a 1v1,5. If she does so: W(R)EQ and you'll be gold! I'd suggest you'll get TH, WA and DD as your secondary items.
Remember: don't dive alone, have The Maiden out! If she wants to trade: W, Q--hit and E
Cho'Gath
Early-game, he can harass you very well. Just keep your distance and try to last hit minions with your Q and then summon them and throw E at him. This forces him to back off a little so you can farm for a second.
Later on, as he'll try to trade with you, hit him with your W and back off since you're not powerful enough just yet. When you get your R ready, don't pop it immediately. Wait until you've landed W on him, follow that with R, E, Q and AA. Now you've forced him to retreat and as he does: FARM! This is your chance to farm if you haven't got enough gold to buy Phage. When you have at least 1250 gold, go back and buy phage. While you're going back, if he gets to your turret, I'd suggest you teleport and stop him. Don't leave the lane if he has pushed far enough or if he's full hp.
Kayle
So in the early-game, you dominate to lane. Constantly harass her so she can't farm. Late-game you still have an advantage over her since you're a tank and she can try to save herself only for a moment. Kayle can output some serious damage but if she feeds you in the early-game, you've won the game.
Darius
You are his counter. Early-game his job is to harass your farm. If he comes close, punish him with one hit of Q but right after that you should back off a little. If he pulls you in, W him and get out of his Q's range. After he uses his Q, use your Q and if you can go with the whole WREQ combo.
Heya, I'm Polkadog and I main Yorick. I've only played him for a couple of days but I really love playing him! I'm still learning more about Yorick so a guide will take some time!
And also this is not a final build/guide, just something I will improve while I play Yorick!
