Bel'Veth
NOOOO NO BELVETH PLEASE!!!
Invades you lvl 1, and 2, and 3, and 4, and you get the idea.
She is a monster in the early game, and will eat you up in your own jungle. If I have to play vs this abomination I will want to cry first of all, but clear by doing wolves or raptors first, into straight up leaving and clearing on the opposite side of wherever you started. If Belveth invades you lvl 1, simply leave the camp and clear on the opposite side of the map. There is no possible way you can reach lvl 6 being even with a belveth.

Champion Build Guide

Overview
I'm Excalibur, a grandmaster peak in S15 Evelynn jungle player. Evelynn is my favourite champion in the game and I think she's in a decent spot right now, so I'd love to share my knowledge with you :)
In this guide, I'll be assuming you have a basic understanding of Evelynn's abilities, as these are easily google-able, and, let's be honest, if you've not already tried a game of Evelynn to see how she feels before looking at this guide, I highly recommend you do.
We will be covering basic fundamentals, as well as some advanced concepts the best Evelnn players DON'T want you to know. So, PREPARE yourself for all the information you are about to recieve.
If you would like to ask any questions, or watch these concepts be applied in a high elo setting by a high elo Eve player, feel free to hop into the stream! I'm live everyday with a focus on educating and playing good music for you all. :) It can be found at twitch.tv/lol_excalibur
I'd really appreciate seeing you in there :)
Something Useful to Note
The threats portion of this guide involves how the matchup plays out in the early and mid game where there is more jungler on jungler dueling.
This is when the strengths and weaknesses of Eve vs these champions is the most promiment, as in the late game there are mostly teamfights and it becomes more so about strengths and weaknesses of your team comp, not individual champions.

What is Evelynn's gameplan?
Evelynn as a champion has 1 job. Assassinate people. How does she assassinate people? She gets dark seal (and eventually mejai stacks). For her to get these, she needs to kill people.
A kill in league of legends is worth 300g, making every kill equate to roughly 15ap in terms of raw amp tomes. Now for Evelynn, who will be using a dark seal in every single game, this kill then becomes 460g, as the 2 stacks from the dark seal equate to 8ap, worth 160g. This makes every kill on Eve the equivalent of getting a 160 gold shutdown. At maximum stacks, Eve has 2 extra amp tomes compaed to everyone else in the lobby.
You can see how important kills are for Evelynn, then, as the champion only has value to your team if she can oneshot people. This is because her utility ability, W, is not very useful to your team unless you proc it, which can be unreliable, and inconsistent. Eve's value then comes from her kills, and she gets her kills by oneshotting people, which you need stacks for. What I'm trying to say is - STACKS!

W vs E Max Second on Eve?
You'll find a lot of Evelynn's debate about W or E max second. The answer is: THERE IS NO RIGHT ANSWER! Both are good in their specific situations. What are their specific situations?
W max is good in games where there a lot of tanky champions, who stack magic resist (not health) where the extra shred from your W will come in handy. These tankier champs also allow you to proc your W easier since they're melee, often with less mobility.
W max is also good when you are behind(you personally, not your team as a whole). Since you won't be oneshotting anybody while behind anyway, becoming more valuable to your team by maxing W second to help CC champions a bit longer will allow you to win more games.
So that's W second, now what about E? E max second is when you're a oneshotting assassin. You want the damage to cut down those squishy targets, and get them in execute range more consistently and faster. E max second is more useful when you want to 1v9 a game, as you have more clear speed, damage and move speed to escape after combo-ing. I personally find myself maxing E second in around 75% of my games, as it lets me have the most agency and fulfill my job as an assassin the most.
At the end of the day though, if you have a strong inclination to only play one max or the other, that's okay. Both are good and both are viable in every game!

What is the 8 camp clear and why is it good?
Mentioned earlier in the guide, the 8 camp clear is the way you get your optimal first base, the blasting wand dark seal base. It involves pathing in this way:
Raptors -> Krugs -> Red Buff -> Wolves -> Gromp -> Blue Buff -> Scuttle Crab -> Raptors -> Krugs
OR
Wolves -> Gromp -> Blue Buff -> Raptors -> Krugs -> Red Buff -> Scuttle Crab -> Wolves -> Gromp
After doing this, you'll have enough gold to base for these items, making you stronger than the enemy jungler at that point in the game. This clear is also the clear which allows you to get level 6 the fastest.
Not many Evelynn players ABUSE this clear, so make sure you're one of the few that do.
Attached is an example of an optimal Evelynn clear from myself, along with an example of what the 8 camp clear looks like.

How to Not Lose your Stacks
Now this question seems simple - just don't die, but when teammates are making bad calls, random solo q things happen, it can be hard to keep your stacks. Eve is very unforgiving in that if you die and lose your stacks, you become very very weak very very quickly, so it's very very important for us to keep our stacks.
This can be navigated using a simple one rule works for all concept. If we don't have our ult or flash up, we don't want to teamfight. Without your flash or ult, you have no agency to carry a teamfight or deal consistent damage safely. This means you have a high chance of dying, without any real counterplay.
Try to always do teamfights on a timer when your ult is up.
Skirmishes and ganks are slightly more leniant when it comes to being able to fight without flash or ult, but as a general rule, you want both up to be useful.
Another rule you can apply to your own games is:
If flash and ult are down -> farm.
If ult is up -> look for a fight.
This is simple, but ruthlessly effective information, that'll save you many games if you hold it in your mind.

The 3 Points in W Technology
I chose Safecracker Evelynn as the image for this concept, as I imagine it as cracking a code. I don't see any other Evelynn's do this strategy. Splash, the old 1.6k LP challenger Evelynn otp - who quit over a year ago told me about this technology. (The goat)
Before maxing E, if you put 3 points in your W, the charm lasts slightly longer, allowing you to finish your final Q spike before the enemy comes out of the charm. This allows you to guarantee your full combo before ulting, to get them the enemy the closest to execute range. This combo guarantees you the most damage.
It is a horifically underutilised part of Evelynn

This information is good and all, but how do I actually win a game with it?
I'm going to give you the one rule works for all, bread and butter Evelynn game. This is your standard game on Eve, that'll work and get you some sweet LP so long as you apply it right.
You're going to start with your 8 camp clear.
This will be done towards whichever lane you have the strongest early game in, with CC and early damage. This will allow you to be the most protected as you clear, and have the highest chance of getting a gank kill.
Then you're going to clear your other two camps. This'll put you at around halfway through level 5, meaning you need 1 more camp before level 6.
During this window, you have time to gank a lane, get a deep ward in enemy jungle, or even take first dragon if you see the enemy jungler topside.
After that, you're going to clear your final camps for level 6. Now it's game time. What do we want? STACKS. We're going to go to a lane, charm the enemy and get our dark seal stacking. At this point, all we want is to juice this baby up. Take objectives as an afterthought, we're playing Eve and providing value through kills, not farming an objective brainlessly.
Even if the enemy get an early couple dragons, how are they going to get a third and fourth against a 25 mejai stacked Eve?
Keep stacking the dark seal, clearing while your ult is on cooldown and ganking while it's off cooldown. Try to take good plays only.
If everything's gone to plan at this point, we're somewhere in the midgame, with a 10 stack mejai, and lich bane. This is the make or break of the game. If you can get 2 more kills, and get an 18 stack mejai, you just got 2 amp tomes worth of kills. You'll soon be oneshotting people without charm.
Now to close out the game, you're going to want to look for a pick before a teamfight, or get a juicy flank angle. One trick Evelynn can do that other champions can't is to stand all the way up in the midlane, just outside the enemy tower's vision. You might catch an unsuspecting ADC as they walk back to midlane.
And voila. Eve pro.
If you made it this far I really appreciate you! This guide took me many hours to make so it means a lot for you to have read through this far.
