The matchup is scary due to renekton being one of the strongest laners in the early game. These champs function similarly, but renekton has a more straightforward way to sustain in lane. It is a skill matchup that will take time to learn.
Yorick
Really good matchup for Rek'Sai. She outtrades him early, and can dispatch his ghouls while still targeting him. Rek'Sai won't be able to side lane against him late game though.
Aatrox
Aatrox loses this matchup most of the time. Unfortunately, once he hits 6 his ultimate can delay an effective ult from you making the matchup feel gross as the fights will take longer.
Kennen
Kennen can kite you, and in teamfights he can make insane ult plays. A bad kennen can be fed off of, but good kennens will require jungle presence to deal with.
Jax
If you don't misplay into his counterstrike this matchup is easy. He naturally outscales you hard, but Rek'Sai can snowball to the point he never reaches late game.
Ornn
An annoying lane to go into as Rek'Sai can't kill him easily. Into this matchup it will be necessary to roam and invade enemy jungles for kills instead of ornn.
Sett
Not a difficult matchup. You can outtrade him with constant small skirmishes, but he can win if you don't play around his W cooldown. Post 6 you win every fight, but only if you hold ult until his shield is gone.
Urgot
An annoying matchup since he can kite you, and play side lanes effectively. Look for rotations, and force him to rotate instead of split.
Shen
Has more map presence than you, which makes getting picks or rotating almost meaningless.
Wukong
Boring matchup that ends up going the way of whoever's jungle shows up first. Post 6 Rek'Sai wins the matchup.
Fiora
A really intense matchup that can go either way. Hug walls when she ults you, and don't ult her when she has riposte up.
Gangplank
This lane goes in Rek'Sai's favor. Especially so if you can coordinate dives with your jungler. Unfortunately, he can opt to sit under tower to farm. Deal with it by either freezing wave, or rotating.
Teemo
Let his blind expire before engaging on him. After that, he's a glorified minion. Loses at all stages of the match except for levels 1-3.
Dr. Mundo
Mundo is Mundo. Unless he ragequits before he's 6 the matchup feels disgusting to play into. Pre 6 you win, but anything after is trolling.
Camille
A matchup that can go either way. Early game it is skewed in Rek'Sai's favour, but she outscales. Going the lethality build into her makes the late game more interesting.
Mordekaiser
It's morde. His passive is busted so do hit and runs. He isn't a threat and you can sustain through his damage in lane.
Kled
Kled is a champ that thrives in the early game, and the early is Rek'Sai's prime time. Loosely skill based. A good kled will go even with you on trades, an average kled will be stuck dismounted or in fountain all game.
Malphite
A boring matchup. He ults and presses Q and stuff like that. You can't kill him, and he shouldn't catch you.
Poppy
Don't let her smack you coming out of a tunnel. Aside from that you guys bonk eachother all game. Play the side lane, if you group she will just bonk you out.
Riven
A fun matchup that goes back and forth. Play aggressively then back out to sustain. At 6 she might have kill potential if you are low. Rek'Sai wins because she can out sustain and out rotate riven.
Tryndamere
He shouldn't be an issue to stomp in lane. Once he hits 6 just play around his ult cooldown. He shouldn't be able to kill you.
Nasus
Once he hits 6 he can out trade you in ult. Freeze wave to prevent stacks, and kill him if he overextends.
Garen
Don't overextend into the garen. He can chase with Q. Natural level 6 advantage goes to Rek'Sai because he can't use his ult before she uses her's.
Darius
Hard to trade into. Look for kills elsewhere on the map, and don't overcommit to trades or his passive will kill you.
Quinn
Build a bramblevest and go into lethality. You will be able to win the side lane against her, forcing her to abandon lane. Pre 6 the matchup can be rough.
Sion
An odd matchup. You beat him early and in a late-game 1v1, but his teamfight feels stronger.
Kayle
She is food. Buy an executioners to counter her riftmaker and go to town.
Illaoi
Don't get grabbed by e = you live. Play wherever she isn't and look for early roams once she gets 6. Pre 6 Rek'Sai wins out on trades.
