First ill tell you about Renekton
Well i started playing Renekton for about 2 weeks ago and i found out How much dmg he really does, and i started to read alot about his play styles and dmg and items tip and tricks etc.
and i found my own really good solo top.

Well lets get to it!

On a faraway world, Renekton was born a member of a race of bestial guardians created to serve as the rulers and protectors of their people. Alongside his brother Nasus, Renekton oversaw the upkeep of the Great Library, which served as both a vault of ancient knowledge and the repository of the teachings of the Cycle of Life and Death. While Nasus taught those scholars who came to study, Renekton served as the Great Library’s gatekeeper. He could sense the true natures of those who sought Nasus' teachings, and he sent away those with dark ambitions. Over time, however, his repeated exposure to this evil infected his mind. He grew furious with the malevolence in the hearts of men, and as he descended deeper into madness, he discovered he could quell the fury by cutting the evil from the men who possessed it. Unfortunately, the relief was as short-lived as the subjects, and the “butcher’s rage”, as it came to be known, would resurge ever stronger.
Consumed by his anger, Renekton turned on the one being who could defeat him -- his own brother. Nasus pleaded with Renekton to see reason. Realizing that he was beyond redemption, the despondent Nasus valiantly struck down his wayward sibling. Defenseless, Renekton waited eagerly for death’s release. It never came. He was spared when summoners from the League of Legends claimed his brother. Caught in the wake of this powerful spell, Renekton tumbled for what seemed like ages between realities. When he finally emerged, he was deep in the sewers of Zaun. Insane with fury, Renekton languished in his newfound home, driven senseless by his rage. That is until, by happenstance, he caught a familiar scent on the air. Believing that the familiar scent would guide him to the solace which was fading from his memory, he traced his brother to the Institute of War.

Well lets get to it!

Renekton is a bruiser that have good mobility and very strong in fights. Hes one of the best Solo top champions in the game because of hes good sustain in lane while hes a good pusher.
He can fight almost everyone on top lane, Renekton's AoE damage and tanky stats makes him very good in teamfights too. and he also have a very good burst on single targets thats why hes good solo top!

Why should Renekton be fun to play?

Well i think Renekton is very fun to play because of he has good burst and very good sustain in lanes. He is very good at pushing lanes and zoning other champions.

PROS

Has a very strong AoE damage
He has no mana
He has Good burst on single target
He is very beefy
He is a very good farmer aswell
And he is very fun to play!

CONS

Falls off late game
Relies on snowballing early game
Can be countered easily

Synergies:

As an initiator/bruiser Renekton works well with anybody that can burst or do sustained damage. Also with his AoE, champions that can control a fight also work well. His ability to start a fight makes a team that can deal damage and control a fight favorable.
Synergies Champions recommended: Cassiopeia, Kennen, Ryze

Counters:
Direct counters to Renekton in a solo lane are Gangplank, Cho’Gath past 6, Swain early game, Lee Sin if played right, Lanewick, and Udyr. These champs either have superior poking power, or way too much sustain to harass. Renekton will also find that teams with superior control difficult to disengage from. If these champions are in the game, you may want to ask for the mid lane.
Counter Champions recommended: Gangplank, Cho'Gath, Swain

Slice and Dice

When running from or to a gank make sure you hit the enemy with your Slice, You can also use Slice and Dice to hit enemys twice or hit a area or just for the AoE dmg. Notice that Renekton can Slice and Dice through some of the "Small walls" in the Summoners Rift.

* Greater Mark of Desolation: Those are very standard and alot use thoose on AD champions, well i take those to dmg more Early and they are much better late game then Greater Mark of Strength

* Greater Seal of Armor: The Armor seal are very good on Renekton, because hes squisy early on and he needs the extra armor when hes solo top for the minions and the enemy solo top, so those are very good on solo top with Renekton.

* Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: The reason i take Those Glyphs is because the solo top is more a AD champion, and then he needs the flat armor, and the Shielding are helping more late game because they stack over Level, so its much better then Greater glyph of Warding, but if u like the Greater Glyph of Warding then they are good enough (:

* Greater Quintessence of Desolation: is Because of the Early armor pen, and the extra damage later on, they really help Renektons dmg

* Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: Is very good on Early Snowballing Renekton, so he can get hes early kills and end the game early because hes late game isn't that good.

* Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed: Well i prefer those on all Melee champions that deals dmg because they are very useful to gank and get away from ganks and then he can easy follow up with hes Slice and Dice (:

Best Summoner Spells for Renekton

I prefer: Flash & Ignite. because i have the escape route and the Ignite for extra damage and picking up a few kills (;

I will say Flash or Ghost is a mush on Renekton no matter what. But you can always take Teleport or Exhaust or Heal or Cleanse instead of Ignite.

Reign of Anger

Renekton gains Fury for every autoattack he makes. This Fury can empower his abilities with bonus effects. Additionally, Renekton gains bonus Fury when he is low on life.

Renekton's passive is very versatile: when using a charged up Cull the Meek, you can sit in between the enemy creeps and use the skill to lifesteal for huge amounts of damage in lane while also harassing your enemy. If your teammate is coming in to help gank your lane, you can Slice through creeps and use a charged Ruthless Predator to stun them for longer than the normal duration.

Cull the Meek

Renekton swings his blade, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+) physical damage to nearby enemies and gains 5% of the damage dealt as Health (20% for champions), up to 50/75/100/125/150. Enemy champions heal for 4x as much.

50 Fury Bonus
Damage increased to 90/135/180/225/270 (+). Heal percent increased to 10%, up to 150/225/300/375/450.

This one you take at level 3 and is the one to level up first. It’s your primary source of damage and sustainability. This followed up with Slice and Dice can clear a wave instantly at higher levels. Or with Ruthless Predator it can be a significant chunk of your opponentsopponent’s health. Spam this spell on minions if you are low on health. If you have 50 Rage I like to use that Rage on Cull the Meek because of the increased lifesteal cap and the extra damage.

Ruthless Predator

Renekton's next attack strikes twice, dealing physical damage (10/30/50/70/90 + 150% of his Attack Damage) and stuns for 0.75 seconds. Each hit applies on-hit effects.

You get Ruthless Predator at level 1. The stun on it allows for an extra auto attack before running if you dive in to pressure or it allows you to get away if you are running. It also allows you to break any channels. Because the duration of the stun does not increase as you level it, I prefer to level this spell last. If you use your 50 Rage on this spell the damage is significant and the stun lasts quite a while.
50 Fury Bonus: Instead, Renekton attacks three times, dealing physical damage (15/45/75/105/135 + 225% of his Attack Damage) and stuns his target for 1.5 seconds.

Slice and Dice

Slice: Renekton dashes, dealing 30/60/90/120/150 (+) physical damage. Hitting an enemy grants the ability to use Dice for 4 seconds.

Dice: Renekton dashes, dealing 30/60/90/120/150 (+) physical damage.

Dice - 50 Fury Bonus: Damage increased to 45/90/135/180/225 (+). Enemies hit have 15/17.5/20/22.5/25% reduced Armor for 4 seconds.

This move you get at level 2 and you proceed to level it after Cull the Meek. Slice and Dice is your move for mobility. It gets you in and out of any fight. It allows you use this ability to jump over small ledges including Baron and Dragon. It also allows you to keep up withon a target you are chasing. If you do damage on your first activation, this move allows you to jump in, pressure your target in lane, and jump out without consequence. If the opponent comes in for a gank, you can dive through him and dive again and you can gain a sizable distance from your opponent, escaping a gank. I spend my 50 Rage on this spell if I am going for a kill. The armor shred on this spell along side your runes, masteries, and items tears your opponent’s armor away.

Dominus

Renekton surrounds himself with dark energies for 15 seconds, gaining 300/450/600 Health. While active, he deals 40/70/100 (+0.1) magic damage to nearby enemies and gains 5 Fury per second.

Dominus is an exceptional ultimate. It’s a lot like his brother Nasus’s ultimate in that it gives increased health and an AoE damaging aura. The damage per second will help in team fights as well as in a 1v1 fight and the health gain can bait your opponent in longer for a kill, although it is better to use it at the start of a fight. Since Dominus also increases your rage production it allows you to use the Fury Empowered spells more often allowing for more damage.

My core items are: These are my Core items for Renekton, you can see i use those 3 items in both of my builds and i think they work very good on Renekton (:
VS heavy AP top: I build Those items if im ainst AP top, or if he have much cc. The reason i build those are that my Runes and masteries are going for armor because its more like a AD solo top, but i buy this to counter AP top (:

Renekton work best in solo lanes, where he can farm and Zone his enemy. Because of hes High single burst damage, Renekton can Zone her*** almost everyone in his lane. And he can easily farm minions due to hes Lifesteal and hes Awesome rage. When renekton gets 50 Rage you activate your Passive, and you next ability will do an extra effect. When Renekton reach level 6 its his time to (Sorry my language) Kick ***. He can almost win vs everyone 1vs1.

When your level 3 with Renekton you should really her*** you enemy and zone him alot.
If you get to aggressive and your low, just stand back and try to lifesteal you way back in lane with Cull of the Meek.

Renekton's role in a teamfight is a form of initiator tanky and bursty AoE damage (:
That means he can easily get in and out in teamfights, thats why hes a initiator.
Hes role is to Dice in Stun a target and Dice out, When you dice in and get stun in, your team will follow you up or well i hope they do (: Sometimes they see you as a Tanky champion and head to your Carries, well you gotta stop that, by Dicing by and stunning their carries and GG.
