Rengar - Lore

On every wall of his den, the trophy hunter Rengar mounts the heads, horns, claws, and fangs of the most lethal creatures in Valoran. Though his collection is extensive, he remains unsatisfied, tirelessly seeking greater game. He takes time with every kill, studying his prey, learning, and preparing himself for the next encounter with the one monster he never managed to defeat.

Rengar never knew his real parents, but was raised by a human who was revered as a legendary hunter. He was an ideal pupil, intently absorbing the lessons of his father, and improving them with his uncanny feral instincts. Before his mane had fully grown, Rengar set off on his own and claimed a wide territory for himself. Along its perimeter, he mounted the skulls of his slain prey - a warning to would-be aggressors. He thought undisputed reign of a region would fulfill him, but instead, he grew restless. No beasts in his domain proved challenging prey, and without formidable adversaries to push his limits, Rengar's spirit waned. He feared that no worthwhile game remained, that he would never again feel the thrill of the hunt. Just when things seemed their bleakest, he encountered the monster. It was a disturbing, alien thing, distinctly out of place in his world. It bore huge scything claws and devoured any animal that strayed across its path. Overzealous at the prospect of a challenge, Rengar ambushed the monster in haste. It far outclassed anything he'd hunted before. Their fight was savage, and each suffered crippling wounds. Rengar lost an eye, but the most grievous blow was to his pride. He had never before failed to make the kill. Worse yet, the severity of his injuries forced him to retreat. Over the following days, he hovered on the threshold between life and death. He was wracked with pain, but beneath it, he felt a glimmer of joy. The hunt was on. If such powerful beings existed in the world, he would find them, and stack their heads high. The monster, however, was a kill he wanted to savor. On his den's largest wall, he reserves a space for the beast's head, a trophy he swears will one day be the centerpiece of his collection.

Rengar - Pro and Cons

    Pros
+ Better in bushes then Garen.
    + Tons of AD damage.
    + Very Fast.
    + Can 1vs1 easy.
+ Ult is good for finishing off recalling/unexpecting enemies.
    Cons
    - Weak to slows and pokes.
    - Bonetooth useless unless getting kills.
    - Almost useless in teamfight apart from picking off some squishy ones early and later.
    - VERY WEAK TO THORNMAIL. God just hope they don't build Thornmail.

Rengar - Skills

Nothing flashy like the other pro builds. Just good content.

Q - Savagery Rengar's next basic attack deals bonus damage and grants him increased attack speed for 4 seconds.
No cost
Physical Damage: 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 (+1.0 per attack damage)
Cooldown: 8 / 7.5 / 7 / 6.5 / 6 seconds
Attack Speed: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 %

Ferocity Bonus Savagery deals bonus damage equal to 100% of Rengar's attack damage, and the Attack Speed bonus is doubled.
Cost: 5 Ferocity
No cooldown
Empowered Physical Damage: 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 (+2.0 per attack damage)
Empowered Attack Speed Bonus: 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 %

Now consider that you can spam this 2 times. But one with Ferocity and one without. Now imagine my full build with 489 AD and 200% damage + 150. Thats a ***ping 1128, then right after that 639 more damage. Then for 4 secs around 2.0 attack speed + the Frozen Mallet so no escape. Thats a pants ****ping 3912 damage in auto attack. In total 5679 damage minus the armor the enemies have. Doing the maths your going to do around 5000 damage in around 6 secs.

W - Battle Roar Rengar lets out a battle roar, damaging enemies and gaining bonus armor and magic resist for a short duration.
No cost
Radius of AoE: 500

Cooldown: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 seconds
Magic Damage: 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 (+0.8 per ability power)
Bonus Armor & Magic Resistance: 15 / 22 / 29 / 36 / 43

Ferocity Bonus Battle Roar also heals Rengar for 40 + (20 × level) health.
Cost: 5 Ferocity
No cooldown
Radius of AoE: 500

I personally use the Ferocity bonus when I use my Ult to run away. At level 18 it heals 400 HP, not much but it will save your life. The idea is you use your W everytime you jump someone (When you get there, not in the bush) its armor only actives when it hits something. Good times to use it. When you don't have much HP left or just trying to survive top. Use it when escaped during Ult, use it when you try to kill someone but they recalled out. The idea of this move is to keep you alive.

E - Bola Strike Rengar throws a bola at his target, slowing them for 2.5 seconds. The slow decays over the duration.
No cost
Range: 575

Cooldown: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 seconds
Physical Damage: 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+0.7 per bonus attack damage)
Slow: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 %

Ferocity Bonus Bola Strike initially roots his target for 1 second. The slow is applied in full after the 1 second, and decays over the remaining 1.5 seconds. Crowd control reduction will reduce each duration separately.
Cost: 5 Ferocity
No cooldown
Range: 575

The only reason I use this move is to one up the Ferocity metre or to slow an enemy I'm running or catching. The Ferocity for this move is practially useless, unless it's Master Yi with Highlander after you. Then it's funny. But due to Rengar's NO MP AND SHORT CD, you will need to spam it to last hit creeps. It's only useful when you have the full build(Frozen Mallet) when they're too damn fast.

R - Thrill of the Hunt Rengar activates his predatory instincts, stealthing after 1 second (delayed up to 3 seconds if taking damage) and revealing all enemy Champions in a large radius around him. He gains movement speed and generates 1 Ferocity per 0.75s while stealthed. Lasts 7 seconds or until he uses an ability.

Cooldown: 140 / 105 / 70 seconds
Vision Radius: 2000 / 3000 / 4000
Movement Speed Bonus: 20 / 25 / 30 %

Gives you magical ganking power. Not only will you be able to find your enemy in jungle, you can jump on his face. Using Q in R doesn't deactive R. But it does go all IM A WALKING HEART BEAT SENSER MODE. Its funny how Malph has a heart. For Example, just finished a losing teamfight enemies are retreating, I Ult godspeed down mid lane Q and Jump a recalling weakened Fed Akali, getting a kill and her blue buff then move on to killing Ashe right next to her. +2 for Bonetooth Necklace. It's monsterous what you can do in that time. Eve and Teemo passive is rendered useless during that time. Imagine my base speed being 405 then 30% that to a sprint.

Rengar - Items & Tactics. 2in1 because I can.

I've placed notes in the items but if you refused to read them, I don't care.

First thing I normally do is get a Long Sword and 2 HP Pots (Or a sight ward depending on who's on the enemy team). I usually get a kill or First Blood if I have a ranged champion on my lane. But the idea is stay in bush and Q then Jump the closest champion. If level 3, Q Jump W E. That is your poke and killing move. But never EVER tower dive. Get Bonetooth Necklace(6:00). By this time(9:00) you would have the money for a B.F sword or just a Bloodthirster already. The idea was not to die. Then quickly move on to Boots of Swiftness with Furor. Furor will decrease the chance of enemies EVER getting away. If you've done things right your enemies tower in this lane should be gone already. If your still under level 15 quickly build a Eleisas. By level 18 or less it would of turned into a passive. By now(13:00) you should build a Phage then slowly move up to Frozen Mallet. If the enemy team hasn't surrendered yet(20:00). You guessed it BUILD MORE BLOODTHIRSTERS. Bloodthirsters use a passive, therefore charge all 3 at once. Also this makes you god mode. Because at max stack its 48%. Then if you lose some health just smack Jungle afew times.

This is were fear comes into play. If your enemies haven't surrendered or you've being a horrible player. (Which means they have a poke in top with you solo top). You need to slowly murder every squishy enemy there is. Slowly forcing them into beileving that they're just feeding you. Then they will surrender if you haven't won. If they've built TONS OF armor just replace one of the Bloodthirster with a Black Cleaver.

Rengar - Pairing.

Allies -
Good = Any champion with ranged poke is good for you. Or Tanks.
Ok = Soraka, Sona, Karthus or Kayle. (Sona and Kayle are highly likely to steal your kill)
Not good = Carries.
Horrible = Darius & Blitzcrank. (You'll be surprised how many times they pull in a enemy and you completly miss click.)

Enemies -
Easy = Ezreal and other squishy champions with no escape.
Normal = Champions with stun or slow. (But Boots of Swiftness tend to help with slow.)
Hard = Tanks, tanky casters with very low CD or lightning brusiers. (If they deal too much burst damage you can't win.)
Impossible = Solo vs full enemy team. Im sorry but Rengar is only good for picking of enemies one by one. Its still possible to get a Penta but you would need all the enemies to be squish casters and inside jungle.

With my build, it's highly possible to solo Baron. But its always a good idea to have some backup.

Thank you for reading.

I thank you for reading my build of SUPER AD Rengar. It may not be as helpful as everyone elses builds but I could care less about how it looked. All I know is it works and I'm nearly impossible to kill. The only possible way to lose is that someone was feeding. But still thanks.

P.S don't you wish Rengar gets a frostfire skin?
