To put it bluntly, I think there are many better choices to be made here.

Your spell choices mean you have no escape or chase ability.

Your runes aren't very synergistic, and there are better choices then Speed Quints on a Caster.

Lich Bane and Rylai's a complete anomaly in your item sequence.
Bane won't do much since your AP is low, you're just putting a road block on your mana-pool which is the main source of Ryze's power.
And personally, I've found the slow is not worth it when you can make proper use of Rune Prison. You can get HP from RoA, and the AP doesn't do anything for you.

And lastly, check how the CDRs add up. Remember to factor in that Overload gives 10% CDR.

You sort of get the right idea with the mana over Ap.. but no CD runes and instead picking up a pair of boots you have to switch out later? That's a complete waste when all you gain is a few magic resist runes.. You pick up the archangels far too late, its such a good item, and you pick up the lichbane before you have any real ability power. Sure ryze's mana increases his damage on Q and W, but it doesn't directly up his AP till he gets Archangel's. So your lichbane is basically only proccing your base and masteried mana..
