Hello everyone! my name is HotEspressoooo from OCE and I have been playing/ studying(🤓) this game for around 4 years now. I will assume you're new to League or Neeko in this guide. I will cover all support basics as a role + mid to late game. enjoy!

Neeko is a mage support, providing the ADC with CC(crowd control; stuns, roots, etc) and damage. Neeko thrives in the early to mid game, with her crazy damage output and playmaking as a support. she does fall off in the late game but if you're ahead enough then that's no problem. play with her utility. Most importantly, she is really easy with a large skill ceiling and potential.

but a quick summary for the lazy.

Q: a skillshot with a circular shape that does good damage. if it hits a champion, it repeats up to 2 times, dealing massive damage. you have to try to hit this to poke.

W: W has a passive where every third auto attack deals bonus damage. you can tell this by your head lighting up. W's active is you send out a clone in a line that you can control. this blocks abilities. it also gives you a burst of movement speed.

E: E is a straight line skillshot that goes through enemies and roots them. This is the key component to your combo and hitting this essentially determines your proficancu of the champ. It gets a longer range as u hit ppl.

R: A huge circle around you that stuns ppl when you land from the big *** jump. amazing damage and utility and is detrimental to team fights.

Combos:

landing quick combo: E > Q > auto > Q2
landing full all in: W > E > Q auto > summoner spell > Q2 > Q3
flash E: Flash > E > Q > auto > Q2 > summoner spell > Q3 > auto
Ult full combo: W > E > Ult > Q > auto > Q2 > Ult landing > auto

LAND UR Es

Neeko is a very independent support. this means she is not as adc-reliant as other supports. She is known infamously for her annoying early game, with great base damage and cc. abuse this fact to pressure early, invading with your team and stepping up to W > E > Q. In the early waves of minions, try using your own minions as a shield to cast your spells from a distance. If you land your E, you can advance with your adc with Q and Autos to all in.

To the new players, when the jungler starts fighting for scuttle crab in the river, you can go assist for a quick kill or a tempo knock. Neeko is great for this. Also, Neeko can thrive going in enemy jungle field trips, assisted by your jungle. in the midgame, you can roam to other struggling/ pushed in lanes while your adc plays safe.
A lane is roamable under 3 conditions:
1. the opponent is pushing your laner hard
2. opponent is low on hp/mana
3. double gank/ counter gank

If a roam is successful, it helps a lot with the tempo of the game and clears up space for objectives. also remember to use W as it has no mana cost and gives u free ms and take vision through wards when roaming.

depending on your runes and position in the game, Neeko's value changes in the late game. teamfighting is an essential part of the game as it changes the outcome of objective status and team hype. Neeko actually is one of the best teamfighters in the whole game as her W trips up enemies and her E and R are game changers to a teamfight. get deep vision and force teamfights/skirmishes in narrow jungle spaces/ pits as this allows her to have a stable ult. play with your carry whether that is ur mid, top, or jungle as u can help engage and finish small fights.

As i enjoy playing weird builds, I have a new build I am trying with smite. neeko can confuse and annoy opposing jungler. you can steal buffs and help ur jungler to get early objectives. play proactively and mobile. u excel in jungle fights. the lack of summs early is not that bad for neeko as she is so good already.
