Reasons for Spell Choices
Summary
I tend to rush Spirit of the Lizard Elder early because it means I can poke and harass the enemy out of the lane just with my auto attacks.
I play very passively until I hit level 6, because it is at this point that you can easily 1v1 the enemy bruiser.
Some people might argue that this is really easy to shut down, but I disagree. I feel that the only counters to this build are ranged AP bruisers and mages e.g. Elise. Any assassin e.g. Akali or Kha'zix will easily be shut down by this.
I always win my lane with this build.
