Introduction

Hello, I'm Croove and this is my Master Yi AP Mid guide.

Ap Master yi on mid is for alot of people equal to "troll?" but other people find it OP
well it is kinda OP if u can play decent with it...

THIS BUILD IS BASED ON SEASON 3 !

Runes

Runes are quite equal to alot of other AP Mid champions...
this guide has no armor or magic resist runes ; even if this champion is a melee, but an awesome son-of-a-poke-to-death !

Masteries

21-9-0

Offense: Like any other AP , alot of AP Burst Damage !
Defense: Since runes doesnt have armor or magic resist,i'd prefered to go specialise those 2 factors in the defense tree
Utility: I've chosen not to use any utility

Items

EARLY Game u should play carefull cause u start with boots

if u have blue without jungler needing it , or not having a jungler, u will earlygame be powerfull... and dominate that lane

without blue and starting with boots u havn't got alot mana regen yet..

(( OTHER OPTION )) is to start with a ring, then boots and then u'r 2nd ring

your own decission...

Skill Sequence

Its quite effective to max u'r Q first: Alpha Strike and then u'r Heal !

so u can poke & heal when needed....

Spells

there isn't really alot of combo to do with master yi to get an easy kill

Important Note !: WHEN U HIT A MINION WITH ALPHA STRIKE..... master yi will be back on that position where u started the Q

WHEN U HIT A CHAMPION: the same ; he will go bounce and get back on last position or atleast onto u'r enemy, AND that could be a moment to pop out your Ignite as damage over time...

Use Ulti on good moments or escapes

Summary

Early Game: even if u think master yi is an offensive champ, Play defensive !
whenever u hit u'r Q on minions,; u can push waves to hard to early

but probably not really a competitive champ

MAster yi , needs early feed to get effective late game..

Pros / Cons

PRO's

- High Effective Burst to Multiple Targets.
- Reset Cooldown on everything when active Ulti.
- Great Mass Fighter

CON'S:

- Hard to farm early game if u'r having a hard opponent.
- Needs feed to be effective late game.
- Could use Blue to have long time laning.

Creeping / Jungling

N/A

Team Work

Has a great ulti whenever someone in your team does massive alot of CC
MAster yi's ulti + his endless alot of Q's when u can keep killing is easy ace for your team.

Unique Skills

Farming

Farming gets easy mid to late game, a newborn child can farm easy with master yi, (figure of speech)

only dont get to pushy
