Okay guys, we are going to keep this guide extremely short and to the point. Other guides are filled with so much garbage you dont need to know; its as simple as this; start boots + 3 pots. first return = 2x blade, (possibly) zerk greaves, at this point if you are having trouble buy lantern. If not, continue on without lantern, straight into IE. STAY BACK, hit W, right click and win whatever is in range, but try to take out whoever has the most kills on their team. ITS THAT EASY.

Alright guys, I decided to add this part in because I feel as though this is the one simple detail that most AD carries seem to neglect. When you're in solo Q ranked, you're just that; solo. Do NOT assume your team will protect you. Do not assume they know what they are doing. When you are solo Q you ARE the best chance of your teams victory (or defeat). As an AD carry this can be difficult since you will most often be the target of interest. Because of the facts previously stated, the best way to go about winning solo Q is to adopt a certain mindset that allows you to think for the greater good of the team, and not just yourself or those around you.

You must use the information and resources given to you (your team) effectively and efficiently, whilst not making assumptions about how they should (or will) play the game. Therefore what I find works best not just with Kog Maw, but with all AD carries as a whole is this; Utilize your team as a meat shield.

Why is this such a plausible strategy? Why wouldnt I just work as a team with my Support like Im supposed to in team fights? He will protect me. And the AP mid wont get caught. And the top laner will actually come fight with the team. Guess what? You cannot predict or assume ANY of those things. What you can assume, what you DO 100% know is that your teammates WILL take damage. That is the only 100% you have to work with, so use it to your advantage. Kite, be the last teammate up, DO NOT BE SCARED TO BE THE ONLY TEAMMATE LEFT ALIVE.

Sacrifice teammates as much as possible assuming you can be advantageous of your peers death. A fed AD carry IS the scariest foe in this game. Learn to be the 5-0-9 250 CS Kog Maw that wins in 20 minutes, not the 20-15-2 Kog Maw that loses in 45.
