Introduction
I am Diamond 1 and among the top 1500 players in the world currently ranked 1345
First off, this is my current League
Here is a picture of my twitch stats on the smurf I have been playing a lot on lately:
I think Twitch is a very underestimated champion in solo queue, especially in the jungle ( Less than a week from Bronze to Gold on a smurf ) . The fact that he is rarely played in the jungle will also give you the upper hand when it comes to people able to predict your next move.
In all seriousness, a well played Twitch is more than capable of stomping solo queue, even at the highest of elos; I played my Twitch jungle vs some of the highest ranked players in the game at the elo I am at. Some pro's I've played as Twitch Jungle and other junglers are on my stream HERE.
There are three main reasons for Twitch jungle to be able to compete at this level:
1. His clear time is decent early levels and he clears in mere seconds once he gets Madred's Razors
2. He can get crazy fed extremely early or farm jungle as well to get stacks for Feral Flare so he is adaptable to multiple play styles
3. Since the changes to pink wards took place, his stealth now allows for smooth ganks
Twitch is stronger than most people think and extremely fun due to his unique play style, stealth, and range (unlike almost any other jungler).
Oh, and if you're looking for a champion to get out of "Elo hell" with, Twitch will be the one. As you saw from the picture of my smurf before, you can see that the win rate with this champion can be ridiculous if you play him correctly.
One last thing, if you are interested in seriously upping you game and want some type of guidance, I offer lessons so you can email me at teamzula@gmail.com!

These masteries are pretty standard for ADC type champions, its no different for twitch even in the jungle. The only different thing I get is I take out of frenzy and put a point into
Butcher
Q: Are these best masteries for twitch? My guides are meant to give you the best possible way to stomp solo que, a big part of solo que is morale, that is why I choose to take a large portion of early game masteries, and not late game ones like frenzy, so the answer is yes! |
I know the glyphs are a little bit of a mess but they're what I discovered to be the strongest set of Runes for Twitch
Greater Mark of Attack Speedx8 - Attack Speed is pretty important for Twitch as multiple attacks are the only way to get multiple stacks of Deadly Venom
Greater Mark of Attack Damagex1 - I run 1 of these to gain a little bit of AD for the jungle
Greater Seal of Armorx9 - All junglers need these because there needs to be sustain in the jungle, that is why it is so difficult to jungle before level 30 because you don't have 9 of these.
Greater Glyph of Attack Speedx5 - Just more attack speed it gives 17% just from runes!
Greater Glyph of Magic Resistx4 - Not too important if the enemy team has no AP but we all know when you gank that mid laner, you're going to want these!!
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damagex3 - These babies are nice for the early game boost they give you! Always nice to have a little extra AD :)
