Came across your Soraka guide again and thought I'd check out your Annie one ^^

Looks great as expected. Only a few tiny notes:
  • Maybe add greater mark of hybrid penetration, Greater Seal of Health & Greater Seal of Scaling Health in optional runes. Hybrid for early CS & harass, oyu only give up a smll amount of Mpen. Seals of health because they got buffed, and it might be better to have more health when facing an AP mid.
  • I'd add .
    . underneath your summarized cons. This to even it out with your pros

Love it, think I might play annie today^^

Hi, I do understand if you don't agree with my items but this is what I prefer in game (which I'm also more comfortable with).

Firstly, I get RoA for its balance between health, mana, and AP because in my experience of playing Annie, I often face problems like: No sustain in lane, mana hungry (If I use my W a lot or poking with Q). This item can give Annie higher sustain and also a better burst, which is why I always taking this item first.

Secondly, Boots is not my "number 1 starting choice" as I feel that I would rather get Doran's Ring for the AP, health and its passive. However, there are times when Boots is a better start for me than Doran's Ring, because of the enemy's mid laner.

This guide that I wrote is based on my personal choice/experience in Annie, so my build may not be that good as others are. Still, thank you for checking my guide out.

Whoisthis135: Thank you very much! ♥

RAKMANSTER: OMG Thank you for pointing it out! I guess I forgotten to add it in when I decided it is a core too ><

Liked it,but you added Deathfire Grasp in the core items and it's not present in the example of a finished build,it's really intriguing.

Emikadon: Thank you for the details! ;v; It must take you a lot of time writing those :)
Crystalline Flask sure is suitable on Annie, but I prefer getting AP/Speed first. That item is fine though, it will be mentioned in the guide with credit to you :)
For the Core Items, I didn't really separate them so thank you for mentioning it. Deathfire Grasp works well on Annie as I tried it earlier on. Maxing W first shouldn't be a problem, because there would also be times when Annie have to 1v2, or more. But during early games to conserve mana I usually just use my Q, then leave a W behind on the enemy/minions.
Yes, Flash + Summon: Tibbers can be engaged if used correctly, thanks for mentioning it I forgotten that it could be used ;v;

Really thank you for the comment ♥

Really nice guide! I don't play Annie very often, but I do see a few things that I think could be added:

What are your thoughts of the Crystalline Flask start? It gives both health and mana for sustain. I don't know if it would be all that useful for Annie in particular since she has a refund mana ability, but I think it could be useful in the right circumstances. I think it should at least be worth mentioning ^_^

Your "Core Build" should be the items that you get every. single. game. Hands down, no questions asked. What you have in your core build is your full example build. Zhonya's Hourglass and Abyssal Mask should be Situational Items, and I think you should add Deathfire Grasp as well. So freakin OP on Annie. She's short ranged anyway, so all you have to do is get in their face and just blow them up xD

Out of curiosity, what do you think of maxing W first? I only play Annie as a support, so I'm not too familiar with her playstyle mid-lane. Her W scales with more base damage (220 max for Q, 250 max for W) as well as from your AP (80% for Q, 85% for W). It would also be pretty useful if the jungler comes to gank and you have to 1v2 for those precious few seconds. However, there is the trade off that it costs a lot more mana and it is an AOE skill shot.

I feel like you should say more about Roaming. I know for a fact that Annie is a terror since all she has to do is clear the wave fast with her W to push her own lane, and then head bot/top with your stun ready. Then once you arrive, just stun them and pull off your burst. Plus, you'll have the other lane helping lock them down/kill them, so it'll be an easy kill with Annie's hard CC and high damage. Also, another combo you should definitely mention is Flash + Summon: Tibbers. It can be devastating if down correctly, and can easily start a teamfight.

All in all though, really nice guide! :D It has all of the basics of playing Annie down, and you're coding is great. There are just these few things that I feel should be at least mentioned somewhere. Add the things I've brought up, and you're guide will really stand out! ^_^

P.S. Turn on Comment to Vote. This will chase away any people who just Downvote for the heck of it.

emoriam: Thanks for suggesting, I will try out Deathfire Grasp for Annie cause I never tried it before ^^;
The Core Items have optional items depending on the enemy/game. (Like Void Staff, it can be changed into another item depending on the playing style) The build order is there as well, like Rod of Ages first, then the boots, but Zhonya's Hourglass order can be swapped with Void Staff/ Abyssal Mask or Rabadon's Deathcap if the game is not going well.

97BligenN: Yes, Exhaust indeed works well with Annie :) I can't judge your build because that's what you prefer, but personally my support Annie is more to the AP side, with a few support items.
