Hello! Welcome to my AP Nidalee Mid guide/build! This build is for average Nidalee players who want more burst in lane.With this guide I have one-shotted tons of people.This guide has some good match-ups and some tips on landing spears. This combination of Magic Penetration and Ability Power brings Nidalee to insane damage .Nidalee has so much potential in Mid lane. I hope this guide helps you in becoming a better player with Nidalee. If you see any mistakes in Runes, masteries or champion match-ups feel free to comment below about it.

WTF IS AUTO ATTACK NIDALEE

Auto Attack Nidalee is for players who don't really know how to land spears in-game. I find that auto attack nidalee works better Top but can also be played mid. I think her play style as an auto attacker is like Diana. You have to land a spear to activate your pounce's passive then go in for a kill.

Nidalee the Bestial Huntress

There are few dwellers, let alone champions, residing in the blasted and dangerous lands that lie south of the Great Barrier. Much of that world still bears the scars of past Rune Wars, especially the mysterious ***ungu Jungle. There are long-forgotten treasures in these strange places which many risk life and limb to acquire. The champion known as Nidalee was only a young girl traveling with her treasure-seeking parents when they lost their way in the dense, rainy jungles. The jungle was unforgiving, and she watched her parents suffer agonizing final days as they fell victim to a mysterious and vicious disease.
As improbable as it was for a child to survive in the inhospitable jungle by herself, she did just that. Her youthful innocence and a fortunate naivete caused her to appeal to the beasts of that place and she was taken in by a family of cougars and raised as one of their own. She grew and somehow absorbed the raw magic of the dense wilds, evolving beyond both her human physiology and her feline affectation. On one pivotal day in her life, standing over the torn remnants of a Noxian squad of woodcutters, Nidalee chose to rejoin the so-called civilized world, to fight in the League of Legends so as to protect the vast woods from both Demacia and Noxus.

Flash And Ignite

These are the usual spells for Mid laners. It gives you the perfect escape and an offensive spell.

Flash and Heal

If you want a safer more relaxed lane take heal. Heal is useless if your whole team has it.Heal is good for team fights and 1v1's in lane.

Teleport and Ignite

Teleport is good for engaging in a team fight from your base and lets you get to lane faster allowing you to farm more.Teleport takes some getting use to in the mid lane so try Nidalee top with teleport first before you start using tp mid

Cougar Mode
PROWL: Moving through brush increases Nidalee's movement speed by 10% for 2 seconds, which increases to 30% if she is moving toward a visible enemy champion within 5500-range.
HUNT: Hitting enemy champions and neutral monsters with Javelin Toss.png Javelin Toss or Bushwhack.png Bushwhack will mark them as Hunted for 4 seconds, revealing them. While moving toward Hunted, Nidalee gains Prowl's bonus movement speed and ignores unit collision. Additionally, Nidalee's first use of Takedown.png Takedown and Pounce.png Pounce against Hunted will have an empowered effect.

Tips and Tricks

Bushwhack Technique
You want to do this before minions spawn.First rush to your lane then what you want to do is take bushwhack first and place those around your lane (preferably in bushes), then recall before 1:15. This will allow lane presence this means you will be able to know if junglers are ganking you early game.
Ward Bait
Use this when your enemy is low enough to die to a single spear ,but they got away and is now under a turret.So to execute this trick you need a ward, good accuracy and enough mana for one spear. First, you place the ward under their turret allowing them to see it because the turret provides true vision, then you try to land spears in the alloted time of them clearing the ward. This works 5/10 times. Its only if you are desperate for a kill.
Flashy Kill
This is how I usually secure kills. I first get the person low with a spear or two then I turn into cougar form flash pounce then do your combo with the cougar form. This is if the person has no flash innate escape and I very low on health
Guaranteed First Blood
This trick is kinda hard to pull of, basically it is a high risk high reward situation. So you want to know what buff the jungler is taking. You can do this easily by warding early game or invading then going back to lane. Then ward the other buff when you are level 2. Wait in your lane and farm then if you see the jungler taking his buff head there secretly(make sure your lane partner does not notice you leaving). This will almost guarantee first blood. This is a high risk high reward situation because you will miss a substantial amount of CS ,but you will get around 300 gold from first blood which makess up for the lost CS
