Hi! I'm Insignia! I have almost 300k points in Vayne, and have been playing her since season 3. I am currently Plat, with hover from 1800-1900 mmr. I like to do different, unique builds for Vayne.

I'm not a fan of Vayne's current condition in terms of items. I dislike BORTK in its current condition, going zeal items first are not good with Q-max, which I am a big fan of, and IE sometimes has a difficult build path. Essence Reaver gives alot of things Vayne wants; Crit, tons of AD, and CDR. This synergies well with Q-max. Also the build path is realtively easy, and even if you aren't able to first buy BF, usually you can buy it on your 2nd back. Also you don't really need the extra 250% damage from IE, because your ult gives you a HUGE AD boost. While 40% cdr isn't a necessity, it feels really good, and gives you alot of play making potential.

TL;DR: Essence Reaver gives CDR, tons of AD, and Crit, which are alot of what Vayne wants when maxing Q.
