Anyone with a hook is a problem to you, that much has already been known. He can deny you your ultimate with both the hook's stun as well as the outcome of you.. well not being in the ult anymore. Other than that, him being melee makes the laning easy against him.
Caitlyn
Caitlyn is a strong adc for Kindred because she has a way out if she gets in trouble, she has CC as well as very long range. Very good and ideal!

2. When your marks appear in the jungle in your side, go fetch them with your ADC.
3. Use your E on a champion before you dive to attack them. Your E maximizes damage.
4. Keep a distance at all times to the enemy. If they are at a range to attack you, and you have no mana, you will die.
5. Accept that you will either die a lot, or absolutely dominate. It is rare to have a functioning Kindred support somewhere "in between".
It's fun though, like super fun. I've done it way too much.
Hello! So you have had a fantastic idea to play Kindred as support?
I can't judge that, I was also there some months back. Maybe you're autofilled to support and have no clue what character is a support, so you play that main of yours from the jungle - or maybe you're a support main like me who just needed some change. No matter what your case is, Kindred was as horrible pick of a new support to practice as Kog'maw was to create from Riot.
As such, here we are!
Kindred as support is played a lot like she is in the jungle. Take a while to get to know her abilities and how they work together. She holds a lot of power within being so "weak", and upon being difficult to play, her ultimate is a very two-headed sword. You can mess up fights for both the enemy as well as your own team. I would advice you to use the ultimate as little as possible until you are sure it's a good idea. You can save yourself or your friend with it in small fights, but for your own sake and the nerves of your already tilted teammates, don't use it in big team fights if your team is losing. Your ultimate prevents everyone's health from going below 10% and then heals everyone just the same for a certain amount.
You do understand that this means your team also can't kill them, and the enemy will also heal?
The easiest combos on Kindred have a lot to do with her autos. By auto attacking and with the speed, she can put a lot of damage in with her ADC, making for a lethal combo.
Examples of combos.
W - Q - E - AA - Q - A
This means first you place your wolf on the ground, gaining cdr to your Q. Then you q to regain proper distance to your enemy who has started running away in fear. You press E on a desired (closest) target enemy and throw two auto attacks. By now your Q has come off cool down and you should use it to dodge their attacks. Now throw the last auto. This sends your wolf to the target and procs your electrocute. Boom, at least like.... 70% of their hp.
