Threats & Synergies
Anyone with a hook is a problem to you, that much has already been known. He can deny you your ultimate with both the hook's stun as well as the outcome of you.. well not being in the ult anymore. Other than that, him being melee makes the laning easy against him.
Just. NO. Put it this way - He has CC, a buck-ton of health, and he isn't afraid of a little sheep. Good thing he is offmeta... right?
Same as Alistar and Blitz. CC and tanky - don't bother focusing her but make sure not to engage if she has her CC up.
As a high mobility and CC character, he can deny you your combos, get you in a lot of trouble with his knock-up. Stay away from him, or focus him down. He is still quite squishy!
Ahh this little basta- I mean yordle. We know her kit is already annoying, but her polymorph will offset your combos, and the slow will painfully destroy both your nerves and plans. Lulu's ultimate is stronger than yours in teamfights and if she is good she will come out as a winner from the fights. Focus her down or only engage when you know she doesn't have ult/polymorph!
His long range and your ability to dodge should not be a problem. However, he does more damage than you early game, and has a lot more CC. Dodge his stun, and you'll most likely survive.
Lux has a lot of CC and long range. She will likely dodge all your abilities and be very annoying to generally fight against.
It's just a tree boy. What could go wrong? Watch out for his stun though, and try to use his bushes against him as much as possible.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA She will CC you, shield your abilities and then drop a load of purple on you to flip a middle finger. Tbh, this is her with everything, so try to play passive and dodge, or extremely aggressive all in ALL THE TIME.
Caitlyn is a strong adc for Kindred because she has a way out if she gets in trouble, she has CC as well as very long range. Very good and ideal!
Same as Caitlyn. A good Jinx is a good jinx, but you all work well together. Hit her stun and you have your combos!
Same as Jinx!
Draven holds a good spot as well due to his range and damage (and sustain), but be careful not to take his farm as he needs his adoration stacks and kills.
Her ultimate and your E+A+W+AA make for a fast and sweet death. She also has good lane push and farming abilities which make your supporting a lot easier.
Love this drama boy, love him good.
Same as any long range adc! Works :)
Never did, but assuming its a fine combo.
Ashe is long ranged, has cc and vision. Her ultimate and your combos make for quite a lethal combination. You are both very squishy early though, and should never engage.
MF is a somewhat safe adc pick, due to her own sustain and range. She has no big pros or cons.
Xayah's stun and ultimate and be good for you as well, always try to poke if she is! She has no ways out of fights though and if you dont play passive early, you will lose lategame due to their fed botlane.
Ezreal's kit is not a very good one with kindred, and even though he is very mobile his strengths lie same as yours - burst, not sustain. He will die, and you will die.
I wouldn't do it, haven't done it, but who knows? it might work.
Don't. Just... don't.
Kalista is all about throwing you in there, and you are all about keeping at range. Do not play Kindred support for a Kalista, as you will both be as useless as a Yuumi in the jungle.
2. When your marks appear in the jungle in your side, go fetch them with your ADC.
3. Use your E on a champion before you dive to attack them. Your E maximizes damage.
4. Keep a distance at all times to the enemy. If they are at a range to attack you, and you have no mana, you will die.
5. Accept that you will either die a lot, or absolutely dominate. It is rare to have a functioning Kindred support somewhere "in between".
It's fun though, like super fun. I've done it way too much.
Hello! So you have had a fantastic idea to play Kindred as support?
I can't judge that, I was also there some months back. Maybe you're autofilled to support and have no clue what character is a support, so you play that main of yours from the jungle - or maybe you're a support main like me who just needed some change. No matter what your case is, Kindred was as horrible pick of a new support to practice as Kog'maw was to create from Riot.
As such, here we are!
Kindred as support is played a lot like she is in the jungle. Take a while to get to know her abilities and how they work together. She holds a lot of power within being so "weak", and upon being difficult to play, her ultimate is a very two-headed sword. You can mess up fights for both the enemy as well as your own team. I would advice you to use the ultimate as little as possible until you are sure it's a good idea. You can save yourself or your friend with it in small fights, but for your own sake and the nerves of your already tilted teammates, don't use it in big team fights if your team is losing. Your ultimate prevents everyone's health from going below 10% and then heals everyone just the same for a certain amount.
You do understand that this means your team also can't kill them, and the enemy will also heal?
The easiest combos on Kindred have a lot to do with her autos. By auto attacking and with the speed, she can put a lot of damage in with her ADC, making for a lethal combo.
Examples of combos.
W - Q - E - AA - Q - A
This means first you place your wolf on the ground, gaining cdr to your Q. Then you q to regain proper distance to your enemy who has started running away in fear. You press E on a desired (closest) target enemy and throw two auto attacks. By now your Q has come off cool down and you should use it to dodge their attacks. Now throw the last auto. This sends your wolf to the target and procs your electrocute. Boom, at least like.... 70% of their hp.
