i like this guide, i have gotten consistant results with a similar build i formulated, it works like a charm in the lower leagues, with a 80% win rate in lane. Im a bit weird with my builds because im in a lower league i take a sight stone and upgrade it because almost no one else wards. General opinion, should i keep my sight stone late game if their are no wards, or ditch it and lose vision?

There is a reason why you don't build shyvana non-tanky and that is that she blows up instantly when diving. Sunfire Aegis and Frozen Mallet are semi-tanky items giving you just not enough health and resists. Imagine a double ap team with 3 damage dealers: The average time you have to kill even one of them is roughly 2 seconds. I doubt that you can do that. I really hate sunfire cape on shyvana because the little amount of stats it gives compared to Randuin's Omen, and the cape's passive is useless on shyvana anyways. What I agree with is the pairing of Wit's End with Blade of the Ruined King, however, Trinity Force has nothing to do here. Alternatively you can get triforce with either the blade or wit's but you should focus more on surviving. This was just some bashing on "your favourite build", this is only my opinion.

Now for some actual criticism, our rad dragon girl has no "unwinnable" lanes as you stated, shyvana can win anything. (Maybe Riven can be classed as "unwinnable" but it takes one little mistake from their side and shyvana just eats her alive)
As for your masteries, building offense is pretty painful because:
a) You will get destroyed in lane by anything that has actual damage, and
b) You will suffer a lot late game, where you need to soak up damage, and distract their carries.

Overall this guide looks a bit obsolete, not going to vote as of now, but I'll keep an eye out for updates :)

I don't mind the wall of texts, most would. That pixel broken by over scaling of the image of Surge however hurt me, and for that I am not looking forward to checking out any guides by you in the near future.

Overall downvote. Have a nice day

1) C2V is in no way compulsary and I personally dont like to force People to give Feedback if they vote for/against my build. Feedback is 100% voluntary and having no C2V is definitly nothing bad.

2)In my build I have different Starters, depending on who you are matched up against, most of them containing wards. Also Shyvana can escape ganks easily early game with her Burnout. Especially early game, you can easily predict when ganks are coming, depending on where their jungler starts and on the playstyle of your lane opponents. I have listed multiple Starters especially for People like you, which are not confortable in predicting jungle paths and reading opponents and feel safer with an early ward.

3)An error which is already fixed, but really shouldnt matter. The rune section is about what type of runes to Chose, that they should be Tier 3 is kinda obvious.

4,6)Thought so too, I might go over the layout again - the guide is still very Young :D

5)The items are all interlinked with each other, so it's kinda hard to explain them seperatly.

7)I am sorry that we dont share the same sense of Humor...

8)Match-ups is an extra chapter I voluuntarily added to my guide... about 90% of all guides on Mobafire dont even have this section. The Guide is finished, I am just adding further Information over time. This is no Point you could critizise me for.

9)The surge item at the end is supposed to be a fun gag.. once more, I am sorry to not share the same sense of Humor...

Overall big words for someone playing LoL since one month. Additionaly I think guides should be judged upon their Content and minor layout issues don't reason a downvote. Have a nice day

Oh and I will definitely try the dual pen masteries (didn't think of that yet hehe :P) I personally don't like life steal quints as my ad quints are my only source of ad early game and I rly need it for easy farming :D but thats totally personal, I can 100% understand and support the idea of taking life steal quints. :)

Thank you for our tip, but in my opinion building tank upon that point is not effective.
To back up my statement, i would like to do some math.
In LoL, damage reduction is calculated as follows : 1 - 100/(100+armor or mres).
Meaning that if I have 180 armour (like in my build), I would have:
1 - 100/(100+180) = 0.642857... meaning I would have about 65% damage reduction for both physical and magical damage. (In this build my mres is also 180 mres).

If I decided to go more tank and have lets say 300 armour and mres, I would have: 1 - 100/(100+300) = 0,75
Meaning 75% damage reduction. This means that with 300 armour and mr I take 16,3% less damage then with 180 armour and mres (0,75-0,65)/0,65 = 0,163.

As seen in the calculations, 180-200 resists is more or less the soft-cap (gold-efficient), as armour and mres give less and less damage reduction the more you stack.

Also with my build I have 3545 HP, which is really not little and really suffices in my opinion. Also, this is linked with my play style. I hate it, when I jump into the enemy team but am nothing more then a meatwall. I like to do damage, but I also don't want to get blown up when I jump inside. This is why my entire build is orientated to be tanky, but also do damage. The only item in this build, which doesn't in some sort make me tanky is my Blade of the Ruined King, which is just to good to not take it, as it synergies really well with my entire attack speed and shyvanas kit overall. This build is literally perfect for me, as I do tons of damage, can tank and stick on the enemy with move speed/slow items.

My build is probably one of the most defensive builds of all the shyvana guides on Mobafire, if you compare them.

I am very happy for your feedback and I would be glad to find out, if this reply changed your mind or if it didn't, how you would modify the build and why.

Peace out
