She Out-ranges and Out-damages you early, ban her every game in low elo, as she is picked more often down there than Zeri will be. However you will most likely outscale her unless she gets fed.

Ban her outside of low-elo every game. She has a stronger Mid-game and better skirmishing power starting at level 6 and/or at first item. She simply outvalues you throughout the early and mid game. Look to outscale her!

Milio

Ideal

Support that keep your lane phase and help you get better trades are amazing! Milio is a prime example due to his range increase making it easier for you to fight with Q plus the MASSIVE shields he provides. The rest are listed with far smaller explanations

Good Engage, good healing with Q, decent Shielding. No ADC could ever complain about Rakan and neither can Smolder!

Alistar

The Sustain on lane, peel and CC make him one of the strongest Engage supps you can play with Smolder!

Braum

Safety, Peel, engage tools, a great choice with Smolder!

Nautilus

While I dislike hard engage supps with Smolder, Nautilus is just too good to have on the team so while the laning may be worse, he is amazing for the entire team and your lane will work out just fine with him as well as his tools allow him to get out of extended fights just fine.

Healing, CC, and more Damage for you! Nami is a good options with Smolder!

CC, Shields, Peel. Renata just like the other enchanters works quite nicely with Smolder!

What sets him apart is his engage doesn't have to be all in! His W is a good escape tool and his E is a nice way to get enemies off of you

She feels like Nautlius to me but worse...

Zyra

Amazing poke, good CC and the plants CAN set up your wave while keeping the enemies busy! Just hope the Zyra doesn't mess up your waves

Heimerdinger

It really depends on the skill of the Heimer to not mess up your waves.

Lulu

Probably one of the weaker enchanter options for Smolder but still good!

Senna

Her Q Healing and E put her above the rest when it comes to other poke supports. She can just kinda do her thing while you farm and feed her stacks.

Karma

There are just better ADCs to pick with poke supports and vice versa. However her shield and root are useful enough.

Seraphine

Just like the other poke supports! However she provides plenty utility!

Sona

This one REALLY depends on you AND the Sona player. I don't like her personally but I can't deny her utility and value

Swain

While the lane bullying potential can be nice and his E sets up for nice Stack collection, there are better options. Still decent tho imo

Good peel with Ult and the Q slow can be nice but that's kinda it.

Smolder is NOT strong early, so Ashe's strong early game can't be capitalized on quite as well as it could be with other champs
