I have to disagree with you on Miss F with Ashe support. Miss F is my favorite adc and I can see the right Ashe support being a a ***** with her. Ash slows them in to Miss F's slow, followed by the double ult... raped.

Thank you so much for this guide. I found some points I'd like to address, but this guide has been really helpful. It should be noted that I have no actual experience in the game (having only played against bots trying to get to lv 30), so take anything I say with a grain of salt.

First, your recommended build has 50% CDR. I know you say that in the guide, but but there are no other recommended items nor a second set of masteries to adjust to the full build.
Second, I honestly don't think Ashe can be considered a good support choice. There are just better options out there. This is a niche pick at best, but one that is really really fun. I would love to be proven wrong though. Now here's where my inexperience comes in: I would love to know which lanes you think Ashe is okay in, because leaning phase is her weakness. I have found Ashe and Twitch makes a pretty decent team up. Are there others?

I'd really like to thank you for the Black Cleaver recommendation. Most builds I've seen try to build her with a Frozen Heart, but this really slows down her ability to deal damage. Black Cleaver allows you to build a damage item while still lowering your cooldowns (I place importance on early cooldowns as Volley seems to take forever to cooldown in the midgame). Thanks.

Thanks, I disagree with a few points but this actually helped me!

Damage support Ashe isn't a thing.
Utility support Ashe is way better than the damage support Ashe you've got up there, except get a Randuins early instead of your IE, and replace the black cleaver with Spirit Visage instead. Also its probably good to put merc treads or ninja tabi as boots, maybe even instead of boots of swiftness.

Well, if damage support Ashe isn't a thing it is now. However, Randuin's Omen is a pretty good item and I should probably add it to the guide. What I want to know is why Ashe would take Spirit Visage. Merc Treads or Tabi is actually a really good idea, and I'll add them in as alternates. Thank you!

Still don't know if im on-bored. The burst from a Sona and Graves ulti or a Jinx and Annie combo will kill you and your carry at 6. I mean, will you even make it to mid-game without feeding the other team?

You have good points! While Support Ashe can suffer from bursty carries or supports, when paired up with someone like Varus she can shut down a carry hard. A nicely coordinated Chain of Corruption with Enchanted Crystal Arrow is literally death to whoever you target. Even with someone like Ezreal you won't have much burst, but you'll have enough harass to make the enemy be on their toes at all times.

what's the incentive of playing an Ashe support which leaves you susceptible to early-agressive lanes such as annie or Leona. Why not just run Ashe in the Marksman position.

Great question. While I must admit that early laning phase will be hard before Tear of the Goddess or Chalice of Harmony, Support Ashe will excel much better in mid laning phase when she can afford to spam abilities. While champions such as Blitzcrank, Leona, or Thresh have great engage, they don't have much sustained harass damage, which Ashe has abundance of. Her long range is enough to hurt the opposing carry without being in too much danger with competent awareness. By the time these opposing supports engage, the enemy carry will probably be low enough to kill with Enchanted Crystal Arrow and follow-up by your carry. Many question the viability of Ashe support, but it is viable enough to work wonders.

Why would it be a core item on ADC Ashe? It's useful for Support Ashe because of the unbelievable mana she receives. It allows you to spam Q and W all you want without running out of mana, which is what Support Ashe should be doing. The extra damage it gives you by spamming skills is also great. Support Ashe and ADC Ashe are different builds. You don't get it on ADC Ashe because the damage it provides isn't as good as other items like Infinity Edge or Bloodthirster. However, since Support Ashe's primary goal is to disrupt, not kill, damage is a secondary priority. As such, Manamune is a necessary item.
