Hello! I am Swaim currently an Aatrox and Swain and Shen 3 trick player playing mainly top and support. I desided to make this guide to help the new players on Swain The noxian grand general learn to love this champion as much as i do.
Now you might ask ''But why should i start playing or even maining Swain''
Well Swain provides a lot of burst,aoe healing and damage dealing,a long range ability and a some raw magic damage to your team comp......also Swain has one of the best lores in league of legends but i will get to that in a bit

Swain is a control mage which means his existence is for giving high damage to your team and specifacly for him some burst and tankiness because of his constant healng and aoe damage.
Swain's lore: Basically Swain was a General that wanted to make Noxus great again because he saw the corruption that had destroyed the power of Noxus. Because the king of noxus believed Swain would try to take his place he send him to ionia where he was believed dead. Swain did survive tho and managed to get a souvenir back from ionia...An ancient evil,a demon who feasted on the deaths of living beings. Swain manged to control the demon and after his return to noxus he killed the king and took power into his own hands

His is tanky
Has good burst
Brings a lot of magic damage to the team
Heals for a lot
Has good combos and good cc
Does aoe(area of effect )damage
CAN TRY TO STEAL BARON HERALD AND DRAKE WITH YOUR W

Can get bursted if he doesnt press his ult in time
If he gets stunned rooted etc he is useless
If behind isnt very useful

A good tip while laning as Swain (support) is to set up small trades with your E and your passive WITH your adc which will result in a kill , really low hp target or a summoner being used. In addition Swain's abilities cost a lot of mana which means wasting your mana or missing a lot of E's is not reccomended (EXPECT if you run the conq build). as Swain you are the second tank with your top laner you and him do damage and your hard cc and damage is really good in a team fight.When Swain ult is at its max(you will know after the red bar below your hp is fully red) you will do the maximume amount of damage.Also a good combo is Using E rooting them using W on them then with passive at the last possible second you drag them in then you q and you just did your full combo.Dont underestimate swains healing since Swain pressing stop watch/hour glass with ult will heal him for quite a bit of an amount
