Items

Talon is a mid game dominant champion(around level 11), so you want to get Frozen Mallet to slow your target and deal more damage thanks to your passive. Trinity Force is optional. As a melee assassin it is great get in closer to your enemies. In this item build you have about 20% lifesteal so don't be afraid to 1 v 1 your opponent.

Skill Sequence

Rake is your main damage tool so i recommend maxing it first. Noxian diplomacy is a buff to your auto-attack and can be cast in between an auto-attack. This works on towers too. I max Noxian Diplomacy second. Cutthroat is mostly a utility so i max it last. With your ultimate put points in it as often as you can. Use your ultimate in a way your enemies will least expect it.
For example: when someone is chasing you use pop your ultimate and run at them. They will keep chasing the way you would have gone. but remember once your ultimate ends, it will reveal your direction.

Spells

Flash is a spell for escapes and closing in on kills, so recommend it with Talon. I know Talon's Q is a ignite like spell, but i think it helps with Talon. You can also try exhaust.

Pros / Cons

Pros
1. short cooldowns.
2. easy to farm with.
3. very durable built with health.
4. hard to escape Talon.
5. easy to poke playing as him.
6. insane burst.
Cons
1. no escape until level 6.
2. super squishy early game.
3. Rake is very weak early game.

Creeping / Jungling

Just don't..... at least at earlier levels.

Summary

I am trying to master all the assassin champions, but i am not a huge fan of melee champions, at least in the mid lane. when i saw the Talon champion spotlight "welcome to the league of legends champion spotlight; featuring Talon, the blade's shadow...... Talon is a melee assassin-" then I wasn't interested in the video. But, I decided to try him when he was "free for the week" I scored 16,2, and 5(KDA). Now he is one of my favorite characters. Now I actually like playing melee champions.

My least favorite assassins are:
Shaco
Zed
Nocturne
