Hey Im looggaann (logan for short) and currently hold a 77% win rate with Taric in silver. Ive wrote a much longer part of the guide but it didn't save, so I will return later and fill out the guide completely.

In fights you will probably be engaging with your e followed by a basic attack. This will slow them with iceborn and allow you to beat them up. Spam q and w as necessary and become almost impossible to kill. Taric's passive also lets you reduce cool down with attacking after an ability letting you effectively spam e, preventing them from running or damaging you. later in the game when you team fight you will be providing a lot of your teams cc which is a key element later on for winning!

The build is really simple and the only thing really required is iceborn and thornmail, everything else is optional. I do recommend either swiftness boots or ninja tabbies for boots, switfness if your having trouble catching up to people and ninja tabbies to do more damage and become even more unkillable. If you need magic Resistance than build an abyssal mask, spirit visage, or an adaptive helm. If you have an ap mid or top then do them a favor and get abyssal mask, or if you have someone spamming ability at you with an almost 0 cooldown then get adaptive helm. If you dont care about others or dont need to, just get an spirt visage.

You wont fight before 3 and once you hit 3 you can pretty much 1v1 any champion and the only thing holding you back is mobility. You want a support with good cc to stop that from happening. If you don't have such a support don't worry, your first completed item iceborn gauntlet will save you endless chasing by slowing them down and dishing out extra damage.
