I'm not that good of a player, but when it comes to Taric I smash my enemies. In the recent patch, Taric has gained some strength that he's needed for a long time. He has become one of my favorite top laners and i'm sure he'll be yours too.

Pros

-Good exchanges
-Excellent sustain
-Good burst
-Fun to play


Cons

-Mana hungry early on
-Long cd's early on
-Mediocre dmg early
-Slow movespeed

Maxing W helps with creep clear and once you get Iceborn, farming is a breeze. Last hit and W and you'll stay ahead in CS.

You can go full armor or you can use the runes i've given. Only go all armor if you're against a heavy or all AD team.

If you play smart you're good against anyone, just play smart and you'll win lane no doubt.
