Hey so lets jump into one of my favorite champions. Katarina with her new rework is beyond fun and exciting to play. Riot did a great job incorporating the usefulness of her daggers into her kit with cool downs. This guide will help you understand how she works and how to play her to get to where you want to be in ranked.

-Pros-
-Katarina excels at quick engages and really delivers damage.
-Katarina's E is a great escape tool with the proper practice.
-Her ultimate is THE highest damage output in the game.
-A well versed Katarina can really out play and make awesome plays.
-Easy core build.
-Cons-
-She is really squishy and can be killed quickly.
-Without proper placement of her daggers she doesn't execute abilities correctly.
-Core Items are very costly and require a snow ball to really carry.
-Countered by Stuns, Roots, etc.

Katarina is all about one thing, DAMAGE. The combinations you are about to see are very easy to execute and learn and pack some serious damage.

Trading in lane
-E(shunpo), W(dagger toss), AA(auto attack), E(back to target range minion), Q(Bouncing Blades)
Going in for the kill
-E,W,R,(if still not dead Q and E to that dagger)
Wall Jumping with W
-Its all about placement with this and take practice. Walk to the wall and when you can no longer get closer hit W, Wait for dagger to place on ground and hover you're mouse over the edge towards the direction you want to go and E to it. Thickness of the wall comes into play same as flash.

Waiting in bush for someone to face-check
-Soon as you see someone coming to check or go through the brush time this right.
-W,E,R,E

Katarina is suppose to dive and just wipe out the enemy team. Meaning you want to look for enemy flanks that are not warded to circle around and get them from behind. Picking off carries is cake for her. She does VERY WELL when a team doesn't have any tanks or engage so you can go around or wait for the right bouncing dagger and then just wreck house.

Overall, Katarina is mighty fine *****. And a mighty fine champion to play. If you are looking for a champion that can carry you to high elo this is a great place to start.
