Introduction
I'm Rank 7 on Taric - Sona - Leona - Shaco - Garen.
I mostly play support or top but Moooooostly support - i played alot of Taric games recently and thought i share what i learnd with the world



Sooo - how does one play this fabulous bastard?
Well - the thing with Taric is - your the strongest healer in the game you have great peeling ability and can give people that engage a stun to go.
Lvl 1-8/10
Laning Phase is were taric is pretty weak - until you're 4-5 you should stay back and peel your carry - don't try to run up to someone to stun them if you're not 100% sure you come out on top in that trade.
When you get lvl 4 you're having your first "Power spike" your lvl 2 heal is alot stronger than your lvl 1 heal and as long as you AA stuff and have Mana (Coin helps) you can pretty much spam it keeping your and your ADC ad high health at all times - lvl 3 just makes you're fully charged heal that much stronger - you CAN leave your heal on lvl 2 until you maxed everything else out - BUT i like it the other way because you get your charges so quiek with the passiv see for your self what you like better.
When you get ganked and your jungler has a stun/dash/root - make your to W him so your E stuns.
Mid Game to late game
Here your starting to shine - you're a teamfight Monster - give your front line your W before the fight starts and work of them with your E to stun as much people as possible - yourself stay near your carrys and heal them up - AA enemy tanks or divers for passiv procs and spam your heal as often as your manapool lets you - Your Ult makes your team unkillable for 2.5 seconds BUT it has a charge time - use that to counter stuff like Zed ults Talon ults - ore stuff like that, always try to get as much people into your ult as you can

So why those runes? Simply - Taric's W scales with Armor - your Armor is your friends armor so its good to have a lot of it right form the get go - always go for Yellows in Armor you can change reds to Scaling HP but i think armor is better.
Scaling MR is self explanatory - you can change it for flat MR if you have AP heavy lane (Corki/Ez and APDMG Supports)
Movement Speed is for getting those Dazzle hits and always being faster near people to AA for that CD reduction

I see a lot of Taric's running around with
Courage of the Colossus
- but thats just dumb the value you get out of that shield is really low compered to
Windspeaker's Blessing
- you get 1 shield every 30-45 sec's that scales of your HP - Windspeakers gives you 10% shield and 10% Healing Bonus all the time AND allies get 5-22 Armor and half the MR - since Taric heals ALOT the value is so much stronger.

- but thats just dumb the value you get out of that shield is really low compered to

Pros.
High Sustain
Moderate DMG early Game (With Passiv.)
Naturally Tanky
Makes your lane Partner more Tanky.
Can stun multible people at once with one ability
Super strong Ult.
Strong late game
Cons.
Cloes to 0 Poke
Stun is quite easy to avoid

when your team runs out of your healing/Ult Zone - your pretty useless.
