Just remember , just because we reccomend items doesn't mean you have to change it . It's our opinion , and you build.
Id suggest switching Warmogs with Frozen Mallet because one
1.Gives a great HP Bonus (For tanky) and some good DMG (Offense)
2. Gives you an "Im gonna be a tank and save my teammate slow skill or another CC"
This slow benefits your Q too btw.
3.This item is cost efficient. You can run on to your core fast than Warmogs. If Warmogs was around 2k or so it'd be a decent item. Plus Warmogs takes FOREVER to stack up too.
I hope this helped :D
Interesting, I actually have been trying to fine a replacement for Warmogs, and I did use Frozen Mallet in one game instead of Warmogs and the results were quite similar but It helped me get into my other items much quicker. Thank you for all the advice! (:

I would rep down this build because of a few things.
First, no matter how you look at it, starting with the Regrowth Pendant look like a bad idea. Unless you wanna play defensive with Garen in early game but he's not a champ for that (unless he fight 2 vs 1 in a lane, but it doesn't happen often. Hell, it should never happen).
Second, the choice of rune is poor imho. Runes are mostly useful in early game, and Garen doesn't need defense and magic resist for the same reason stated above. I rather take Seal of evasion + Nimbleness Mastery (Also because I prefer Flash to Ghost) and Glyph of Furor/Focus/Celerity to get early kill for exp/gold, and cause problem to the other team.
Third, I don't hate Warmog like AfghanWalrus does, but an early GA doesn't look like a good choice. Add the GA nerf in today's patch (Sept. 08) and you have a pretty good reason to remove it or at last put it later.
Thank you for the feedback, what would you recommend in replacing Warmogs Armor. And like I said to AfganWalrus, I tend to do a lot of 2v1 where I shine, and yeah. But please if there are any items you don't like please give me some feedback on it, and recommend on which items to replace it with.
Well I did as you told me to , so here is my feedback for your build.
Overall this build is OK , things I dont like about is :
1. You use Warmogs. IU cant stand that item , there are millions of different item that are much better and cost efficent than Warmogs , not to mention it takes FOREVER to stack up.
2.Garen isn't ment to be a tank. Garen is a fighter , like Olaf , meaning he can take alot of time to kill , and can intiate and so up some damage , but is a DPS at the same time. And Garen can only intiate and such. And can't be the main tank for your team. Rammus , Shen etc can do his job just as better.
3. You didnt't get the Magic Pen mastery , with all those sunfire capes all they have to do is stack MR because there is no way possible for Garen (who doesnt scale with AP) to get a Void Stsff.
That's all I can think for now on feedback. Great Runes , Great skill choice , and decent item build. I hope this helped >.<
Thank you very much for the feedback, what would you recommend for the replacement of Warmogs Armor? I tend to 2v1 because on my main team, there is always a jungler, and thanks to the Regrowth Pendent I never have to go back till i have 3k gold. Which is sometimes around lvl 10 or 11. I didn't mean to make him a full tank, I want to make him an Offensive Tank.
