Okay, Bard has really helped me win games. I am a main bard top in ranked games and there is almost no game you cant win. There will be games where you are losing, like by A LOT but a main bard top knows that there is almost no game you can't turn around if you just GET TO LATE GAME. Really I dont think there is another champion that is best in late game. Late game nasus is a joke compared to bard.

IMPORTANT: The dificult part about using bard top is that MANY MANY MANY people wont trust you and that can lead to you loosing. They will flame you and sometimes even ragequit. Even if you are the best player in your team they will ALWAYS blame you for everything. But try to get them to trust you and you will surely win. team trust is vital for playing bard top.

PASSIVE : You will need to collect AS MANY chimes as you can because they are the most important thing for bard. If you are no good at collecting chimes then DO NOT PLAY BARD because you will loose. His passive is absolutely the most important thing to bard top. When reaching about 50 chimes your basic attacks will deal A LOT of damage and they will be scared of you. Specially after luden.

SHRINES (W) : Start with shrines (But DO NOT max) and leave 3 shrines in your jungle to heal your jungler. After he uses at least 1 start placing shrines near your tower and let them mature. If you need to heal but cant leave lane just heal using your shrines. They are merely for sustain or if they try to dive you. Do NOT expect them to be super usefull during a trade because an unmature shrine heals really little. A mature shrine is a useful shrine.

COSMIC (Q) : Max this ability ALWAYS as it will be your only damaging ability besides your basic attacks. With practice you learn how to stun people properly and it is a great poke ability early game.

JOURNEY (E) : Max second after Q. Save it for larger walls. The larger, the better, as the speed you get through the tunnel is better for larger walls. Save for escaping enemies or tricking them into following you. After they follow you wait for them to reach the end of the tunnel and use Q to stun them against the same wall they came out of. With practice you will learn the angles needed for the best wall tunnels. You can also use it to get to lane quicker.

ULTIMATE (R) : Its really easy to do a bad ultimate and loose because of your fault. In a team figth try to freeze 3 enemies while the team kills the remaining 2. Or to catch an escaping enemy. Or to freeze your enemies as your allies approach you to gank. You can also use it defensively to protect yourself as your allies save you or reach you or to avoid damage for not instant abilities like karthus or zed's ultimate. Do not attempt to save yourself from instant damage like leblanc because your R takes time to take effect.

Dont go full tank. Luden is a MUST HAVE in every game and so does frostqueen at least for early game. Hear me out on frost queen: Its REALLY hard to farm creeps with bard and you also need to roam other lanes and collect chimes so frost queen will be a good source of money. Plus, the extra damage on champions and its slowing passive is really useful.

LATE GAME: When you finaly reach the gloriosity of late game you can sell frostqueen and buy your last item (if you want you can stay with FQC since the passive is useful always). If you decide to sell it buy lich bane or rapid firecannon. It may seem weird to buy firecannon but it is cheaper than lich bane and its passive really stacks with your passive and Luden to form a DEADLY first basic attack. Your bassic attack will activate meep damage, cannon damage, and luden damage. So basically you will unleash DEATH.
