Make sure you update the guide according to riot's update. They have removed tenacity on his ultimate, and his blobs are harder to collect.
Also, could you explain why you pick W at level 4? Imo, 3 levels on E would make ganking at level 5 devastating, and a almost guaranteed kill. I'm gonna refrain from voting for now.

About W lvl 4 depends, normally i did for jump combo. For example, when you jump and take the target u can cast W, so with lvl 4 w your damange is more powerfull and the laner can take a easy kill, or you can take E like you say, and the ganks at level 5 will be davstatin. So if you take W, when you hit the target you do more damange, more damange= more probably laner take the kill and more sucefull gank, however pick E, could let you jump from your jungle to mid lane with a sucefull gank.
Lets see some examples:
Take W:
- You have a scenario on mid lane like both of laners are fighting and your mid laner are loosing, if you are next to him jump ill be not effective but w will help him win the fight.
Take E:
- You have your top laner under his tower, and are being jammed by enemy top lanner, so you can use your E, to jump from jungle, take him from behind and take him down.
