Introduction

Hello,

I am Dikke Dwerg and trying to make a guide to all you'r needs :D ( it is my first guide so please bear with me ). I choice for AD katarina first in a costum game with some friends and found it very fun to play. This way you can enjoy katarina in a new way. The most fun is that you can keep being close to the target with forzen mallet shunpoo and sinister steel and auto attack them to death with the tons of attack speed.

Runes

Mark of attack damage
or
Mark of armor penetration ( vs heavy armor champs like malphite )

Seal of armor ( the armor is always nice vs minions or ad champs and becouse i normaly dont buy armor items. )


Glyph of cooldown reduction
or
Glyph of magic resist ( if you have a AP at top like teemo )

Quint of Movement Speed ( since i love to run fast with kata :3 )
Quint of Attack Damage ( if you think you dont need the movement speed )

Masteries

I choice for the normal adc masteries but it is still in progress.

Items

Since you are petty weak in early game you want to be fast so you dont catch to much damage and that is why i choice the boots of speed for the first item to buy. After buying phage and finishing you're boots you want to get to the frozen mallet as fast as possible. This makes you "tanky" and makes sure you stay close to the target togheter with the W skill.

Skill Sequence

First start with Shunpo ( since your ad and want to get close to farm minions its nice to have a escape and i perfer shunpo over the bouncing blades with AD because the make like 40 damage and is not the ideal to last hit. After you maxed your W skill ( for the damage ) i normaly want to max my shunpo after that for the CD reduction.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

1. She is amazing fast
2. Is based on Cooldowns and has no mana
3. With the movement speed and shunpo you can easy chase or run away
4. Easy to farm
5. Easy ganker
6. A lot of fun to play

Cons

1. Can get harrased easy by ranged like : Teemo and jayce
2. Ulty has a short range and doesnt do that much damage with AD
3. You need to know how to kill steal
