Introduction
Lets discuss the reason for the items I have chosen for this build. First, I believe Doran's Blade is a better choice than Cull. The HP and lifesteal is better in lane vs lane bullies that Vayne struggles against
I earned Gold basically by playing Vayne, and ADC in general. But she has a lot of tough matchups in lane and good players can punish Vaynes weak early game and slip ups. If your support is someone like Janna or Soraka, those matchups should not matter as much and give you a better chance at winning in Ranked.
While farming in lane, use Tumble to reposition after killing a minion or to get in position to kill one. Also use it to reset your auto attacks and push faster. Pay attention to your critical strikes and how damage much your 3rd hit on Silver Bolts will do. During mid and late game Vayne can take Dragons and Barons easily with just 1 or two other teammates in a lot of situations.
Two points I Want to touch on are using Condemn (E) and Final Hour (R). These are two unique abilities with a lot of usage. First, always pay attention to the angle that enemies are standing parallel to a wall. Using tumble or flash to knock someone into a wall for a stun with Condemn is a great engage, disengage, fighting, and surviving tool. Using Vayne Ultimate allows you to go invisible for a few seconds after tumbling. Use this stealth to as much of an advantage as possible. You reappear when attacking, so use the stealth to get a position around or on another side of your enemy to set up stuns and make it harder for them to target you. A good way to use Vayne ultimate is aggressively. Especially during 1v1s and skirmishes, if you use your ultimate right away and just start smacking people with autos and immediately going invisible, it can cause a lot of chaos and set kills up for your team. You also get enhanced movement speed through your passive while Final Hour is active. Use it to chase down enemies and clean up fights. Another use is when a tank or assassin jumps on you, use Final hour right away to go stealth mode and buy time for your team to arrive. Coupled with Quick Silver Sash it works very well.
PROS: High damage, High dps, Tank shredder, works well in all team comps with tanks, very strong late game, some mobility, VERY fun champion
CONS: Very squishy, vulnerable to hard cc and ganks, high-ish skill cap (it's more than just auto attacking), doesn't work well with every support, weak early game, can be a frustrating champion to play before you get used to her and can stay alive well

***STAY ALIVE***
Use Final Hour to disengage during fights so your team can use abilities while you stay protected and hit whoever is closest to you with auto attacks.
If you're ahead you can take on an assassin type role and pick off squishies with your stealth and disengage by standing on the side outside of a fight and striking when best.
Try to stay with your support for protection, ask team to watch for when they need to peel for you. You are the DPS of the team when playing vayne, do all you can and cooperate with your team in order to stay alive and get off as many attacks as possible.
You can kite and harass front line tanks with tumble and RapidFire Cannon. The risk should not be high enough in a 5v5 teamfight unless there is a blitzcrank etc.
Stay behind your tanks and keep alert for flanking assasins.
If your team is heavily winning a fight before you get there, use Final Hour to clean up the remaining kills.
