Only initiate when you know you can win. Try not to initiate and let the other player initiate. Keep poke on them and deal damage when you can without taking it. Use q to poke. Keep w up until you have a clear shot so you can burst effectively. Use e first before you transform so you have them trapped down and so they deal less damage in the fight. Now finally is the time to transform. use w first to increase attack speed. than as they move away use q. if they run out of q range use e and hop on them. After you hop on them transform immediately use q and than transform and burst them hard. this is how you kill and control mid lane. watch for Ganks keep wards on river bushes and be map aware. if you lose keep playing and just try to have fun.
