(C)(>5) Olaf's "worst" matchup, but I have never seen a good Akali topline before, so chill out; you can do it. Play
First Strike + Mana Flow Band and spam your Q to the last hit. If she disrespects you in Lv 1, pop Ghost and get her HP. Last hit based on her W and E cooldown. YOU CAN"T FIGHT HER, AND DON"T EVEN TRY. If she all in you after 6, try to Ult + W auto reset after her R2 to maximize damage. Go Maw + Stridebreaker.
Aatrox
(C)(>20) It's a pure skill matchup. You win the first 3 levels. If he goes ignite, then push the wave and only trade with him when necessary. Try to throw Q when he's in his Q animation. If it hits +, you don't get hit by Q1, pop Ghost and run him down. From 6 - 8, it's a 50/50 fight, depending on whoever makes more mistakes, but you eat him alive at lv 9-10 when your Q is 45% slow, counter his movement speed boost from R. His damage on the turret is WEAK AF; you can abuse that to recall when necessary. Death Dance counter his passive healing, so go for Stridebreaker -> Ammor Boost -> Deathdance build.
Aurora
(D)(<5) Hold your Q and auto attack to heal back from her poke. Play with bushes. Your best chance to win in this matchup is lv 4-5 when you have 2-3 points in Q. Her passive deals more damage the more health you lose, so don't ignore her poke. Strikebreaker -> Maw -> Death dance -> Jak So, as she has Max's health damage.
Camille
(B)(>5) Push the first 3 wave for cheater recall. When your Q hits, juggle and dodge when she panics W. Your E has more range than her Q auto, so try to hold your axe and open the fight with it. Don't auto-attack her when her passive is on; just chase and let her guess when you will throw your second axes. Freeze the wave and Ghost when you hit your Q, then try to Flash to block her second part of E, then Ult -> Auto -> W Auto reset -> E -> Q. SHE CAN 60% TO 0 YOU ANYTIME BETWEEN LV 5 > 7 with ignite, but she won't have enough damage to kill you at LV 8-9, unless she somehow got her first item. Go 3Q -> Max E setup.
Fiora
(B)(>5) Skill-matchup in your favor. You win lv 1, so be confident and don't let her get the weak spot for free. You MUST respect her lv 2 and 3 if she gets ignited. Flash her W if necessary. Pre-cast your E when you think she's gonna Q in, and it will be used as soon as she dashes in. However, you won't win those trades. At lv 6, you completely stomp her at all-in, even if she gets all of the weak spots. You are too tanky for her to deal with from lv 6 -> first item, so abuse that and freeze the wave after 6. You can still beat her after two items, but that won't happen after the three ones. Your win condition is to team fight, and hers is to split-push, so try to force one when you think the turrets are not being treated.
Cho'Gath
(D)(>5) Don't get hit by her Q; his kit will fall apart. Freeze the wave, then run him down—Flash to dodge his Q if necessary. Respect him at lv 4 -> 5 if he puts 2-3 points into his Q. If not, then you are good to do whatever u want. Stride -> Sterrak to counter his Ult.
Garen
(A)(>10) Go Flash + Barrier and abuse his weak 1-5. Use barrier early, as his ult deals more damage the more health he loses. If he goes Phase Rush, push the wave after he use all of the combo and run away, then freeze. you win from 1->5, but after 6 things got a little bit tricky. You win if both have 100% health, but will quickly lose if you have lower than 70%, so respect him and recall if necessary. Ammor Boost -> Stridebreaker -> Sterrak is the way to go, as Sterrak COUNTERS his ult. Olaf complete loses this matchup after 9, or he gets a lead before it.
Jax
(A)(>25) In my opinion, the worst thing you can face as Olaf is not because the matchup is that hard, but he does everything better than you, from split push to all-in to team fight. This is the most popular Olaf counter, so if you want to main him, be prepared to fight this animal. The safest way to deal with him is to go two health shards -> Ammor Boost and max E. Try to freeze the wave and just annoy him. You win the all-in if he's trying to jump on you without a passive stack. Pop W early when trading, Ult, then save E to maintain your ult when he E. If both of you don't have ult, Flash out of his E then use Ghost to run him down. Without E, he's a sitting duck for you to kill. Go for a short trade and heal with your passive. This guy doesn't have waveclear -> healing to match your short trade, so chill out even if the trade seems lost. Max E or 3 Q -> E, go for two health shards -> Ammor Boost -> Hullbreaker -> Death Dance -> Maw -> Jak So because this guy deals mixed damage.
Jayce
(A)(>25) Below diamond, this is a good matchup for Olaf, but in high-elo, this champ is a nightmare for me. If he goes conquering, respect the first 5 levels and all in at level 6 while above 70% health. If it's lower, then back off and heal with your doran's blade + passive. If he goes Phase - Rush, then freeze the wave at the first 5 level, then try to bait his phase rush + E and all - in. DON"TRY TO DO ANYTHING IF HIS PHASE RUSH IS UP AND YOUR GHOST IS DOWN; THE PLAY WON'T WORK. R before going into his melee E range, then
Amumu
Lmao, just lmao. If he's a proxy, proxy him back AFTER KNOWING WHERE THE ENEMY'S JUNGLE IS. His E will reduce cooldown when the minions hit him, so try to fight outside the minion's wave. Freeze the wave, then run him down, but respect his ganked setup when your ult is down.
Warwick
(S)(>5) Respect his first 3 levels, and dont even try to trade with him in the first 5 lv if he goes barrier. After 6, you win the 1v1 and only lose IF HE GOES BORK + SLOW RESISTENT BOOST AND KITE U THE F OUT. If not, you are just to scale him in every single way. Get heal reduction so he cannot disrespect you and auto - attack the wave to heal back.
Akshan
(B)(<5) Stack Ammor and respect him for the first 3 lv. ONLY ALL IN HIM AT LV 4 - 5, DO NOT EVEN TO SHORT-TRADE HIM.
10 likes to unlock this chapter, lmao.
Feel free to ask me anything cause there are little to no Olaf content creators/streamers that actually know what they are doing:V
I hope you enjoy my guide so far :P
