Braum
Braum can stop your engage by throwing a q on you, which then the adc can follow up on with auto attacks and stun you, which will result in you having 1/2 of your hp. He can block your hook with his E. Try to poke him down with autos, because he is a melee champion, he won't be able to trade back with you as long as you stay behind your minions.
Introduction
Hello!
My name is Thomas, I'm a Thresh main. I've been playing Thresh for 1 year now, and I'm currently platinum 5. I peaked at platinum 4 in season 6, which was my first season of playing league. Right now I'm aiming for diamond.
I worked really hard on this guide, I hope you'll enjoy it.
Champion Introduction
Is a really versitile champion. He can be played in many ways, and in this guide I'll be explaining what in my opinion, is the most effective way to play him. |
His can be used in many ways, just like . And you'll be able to amaze your friends with it. |
can solocarry games by roaming a lot and landing hooks on the right targets in teamfights. |
There are a lot of possible combo's you can perform, and every combo has it's own advantages and disadvantages. |
is a really strong ability, as you can cancel basically every ability which has a casting time or movements. Such as or |

Why should you play Thresh?
can be verry effective. He has the ability to roam with and make the ganks work with his insane amount of cc. His laningphase can be insane, but you can get crushed as well. is fairly easy to pick up. Though, if you want to play him to his maximum potential, you have to be dedicated and practice a lot. When you know how his kit works, you'll be able to solocarry your way up the ladder. And ofcourse, Thresh is really fun to play.
Why these items?
Relic shield is your main support item, as it gives you some extra hp to help you survive in the laningphase, and some extra gold from its unique passive. You don't want to upgrade this item, because this will slown down your build a lot, and it's not worth the gold in my opinion. |
This is going to help you out a lot. It will give you a lot of movementspeed out of combat, and will make it easier for you to roam. |
You should upgrade your sightstone around 15-20 minutes, as you'll need the extra ward and hp it provides. |
Right now, this item is really OP. Sadly it will get nerfed in patch 7.2 The heal it provides is really strong in teamfights, it grants you 400 extra hp, and 10% cdr, which really benefits on |
Locket is really strong in teamfights. Activate it when the enemy team unleashes their burst on you, or when you see someone using Unstoppable Force or Onslaught of Shadows. |
Get this item when their team has a lot of cc. You can use it to save yourself or a teammate. |
You should get this item when their team has champions like Blitzcrank or Malphite, or when they have a fed AP. |
Get this item when you're feeling like you need more movementspeed, or when their team has a fed AD. |
You should buy this when their team has attack speed reliant champions like Vayne or Master Yi, because they are heavily reliant on attack speed, and Frozen Heart reduces their attack speed with 15%. |
This item gives you armor, hp and crit reduction, which is really strong against yasuo or gp. The unique active it has is pretty nice in teamfights as well because you can slow everyone for a brief amount of time. |
Runes
These are mainly standard support runes. Except for the AD Marks. I take AD Marks on because it scales well with your passive, which gives you some nice poke in lane.
Abilities
You want to max this second, as it reduces the cooldown, which means you can save your teammates more often. |
Ofcourse, you want to put a point in this ability whenever possible. should be used in combination with your and your . The main combo for picking someone would be: > > . (Q>R>E) |
