running magic pen, some ap, and tankiness increased thresh's over all dmg output, he wont burst
but his sutstained dmg is greater over all

try building sorcerer shoes, liandre torment, and rod of ages as your primary goals, your fourth Item should be Iceborn. the next two are advisory, I personally recommend runic bulwark and abyssal scepter.

your end stats with this build are
3579 hp
2142 mana
230+Passive souls (average of 325 w/ passive)
133 armor+ passive souls (average of 228 total)
192 magic resist
and most importantly 8% spell pen from boots, 45 from runes, masteries, and items, and 20 from abyssal aura.

your dps running a full Q-E-R combo is 1904, if the enemy has 150 mr, then you still, with pen average 1330 dmg output from that combo, available ever 150 seconds or so,

if just using passive-active Q-E your dps is 954 sfter resists its 668.

If running ad your output for QER is 1845, with resistances 738, and standard Q-E is 1217, with resistances this is cut down to 387. as you can see your dmg is outshined sustained by ap bruiser thresh, please note that Either build focused on moderate dmg and much tanky.

Hey Satella! Added Sunfire Aegis and Warmog's Armor to give the build so extra tankiness. What you think ?

I found jax quite easy to beat in lane. Simply use Flay to push him away when he tries his jump stun combo. After that he's a sitting duck to your auto attacks and Death Sentence

Ok replaced Malady with Wit's End

The point here was that Malady is bad, not that you should use Wit's End instead.

Even though you updated it, the guide as it is just doesn't work; you have no HP, no damage, and your utility goes wasted since you don't have somebody around to deal damage to the enemy while you CC them. Top laners like Jax can tear you a new one when you go top.

Please read the information about how to use this item on Thresh. It will explain why it's good.

[edited by mod] Here, a better player than you is telling you it isn't good. You need 250 AP to deal as much damage as Wit's End. Rushing it is just a no-no.

Hey Falseogod! Thanks for all the support and kind words! Its people like you who make this game what it is :D

Summoner's Resolve doesn't benefit neither of your suggested Summoner Spells.

Haha noticed that and will change accordingly ;)

Malady is mediocre with the ap you got

CDR boots are **** if you're not going support

Go play Thresh without them then come back :) The CDR is a must have as Death Sentence's CD is so high. With these you can keep spamming it to constantly harass

Well I'm very interested to see how you play Thresh, maybe you could send over some results.
Over all, your attitude stinks and its a wonder people post anything on here at all with all the negative and aggressive responses... This is my first guide and harassment like that is just being mean for the sake of it.

Build and order are completely random, CDR boots are **** if you're not going support since Mercury's Treads and Ninja Tabi outclass those in terms of raw laning, Malady is mediocre with the ap you got, Haunting Guise is a first buy, not a 1000th item. All in all, it looks like a bad teemo guide that doesn't know what it wants to do: no raw damage to carry, no good offensive items with good defensive stats to actually offtank.

Furthermore, Good Hands is a terrible mastery, Safeguard goes against the build's looks and Summoner's Resolve doesn't benefit neither of your suggested Summoner Spells. The colors on some of your sections hurt the eyes.

Overall, people should stop writing guides to new champs if they a) Don't know how to play/build them correctly. I'm sure you'll eventually discover a good top build and see that this is a messy item mash up.
