Pros:
-You can pull your enemies into your Teammates and take their souls.
-Can pull champions into turret range during early game long enough to kill.
-Very good in bot and top as long as you are with someone else.
Cons:
-Supporting comes with a price without someone else there you can't hold your own to well.
-Escaping a lot of stuns and team raids isn't the easiest thing. (Not much mobility)
-Missing Death Sentence early game can be a tragic flaw at times so be careful the cool down is really long!

When getting in team fights there are 2 things to remember.
-Low Leveled Only: if you are doing bad (we all have our days) avoid a lot of contact with Champions but keep them in the fight and your teammates safe with the Lantern.
-If you are doing decent-really well then make yourself the center of attention you are pretty tanky but don't risk to much! Pull in your enemies and shield yourself and your teammates with the Lantern to keep the fight going!

Use Teleport to quickly get back into action and help your Teammate, this build doesn't help Thresh move faster so that was my solution.
Use Heal early game when your teammate is hurting or you both have lost a decent amount of health to stay in lane longer, also use it in team fights. Usually right after the first or second kill is a good time to use it.

This sequence is meant to pull your enemies in or push them out to keep your Teammate alive and your enemies dying. Death Sentence has a long cool down so focus on that most often when being offensive. When being defensive focus on your W and either way you go put some points in your E cause it rolls both ways.
Use Death Sentence into the brush across from you, make sure you are right in Turret range. If we get enough people to do this we can stop people from doing that! I strongly recommend the Explorer and Biscuiteer in your Masteries before you go into PvP. It is my alternative to buying pots and sight wards to avoid ganks and stay in lane longer.
