You're going to stomp him in the early game, but once he gets red form, he is going to become a hassle since he has good cc, sustain, and damage. Thornmail will help with the healing but once teamfighting comes around, he will disengage you everytime and set his team up for the kill.
Dr. Mundo
He is going to ruin your life. His cleavers give you a hard time even if you max bear stance, so with this build, unless you get super far ahead, he will run you down everytime, either burning your flash or just killing you. You can't outsustain since spirit visage is one of his core items.
Olaf
One of the reasons why I started doing this build. He has on of the best clears in the game and his early dueling potential is top tier. Like Mundo, he will run you down with his axes, he has good sustain, true damage, and his ult is extremely strong. I'd best advice trying to get the level advantage and killing him early to damage his mental. If this doesn't work, counter gank and play around your team until he starts falling off. Try and reduce that damage he going to cause and rush steelcaps and thornmail right after your mythic.
Ivern
He is annoying, he is impossible to catch, and Daisy knocks you up so much, you might get pregnant. His main objective is to support his team and prevent you from engaging period. If you see him in lobby, I highly recommend dodging.
Rammus
The thing about Rammus is that the majority of his damage is magic damage. He usually is a very big problem for udyr, but this is where wit's end comes into play. Build that and make sure to be hitting him with your phoenix stance a majority of the time, since hes most likely going to rush thornmail first. Don't get caught out by his team and you should be okay.
Karthus
The problem here is more of how you play the early game. He is going to scale and he is going to melt everyone. He always takes dark harvest and his passive and wall makes it hard to get close to him. This is a situation where you want to end the game ASAP, otherwise, you're going to lose.
Nunu & Willump
While his CC might be annoying, unless his team is there to back him up, you shouldn't have too much of a problem dealing with him. Make sure to take objectives whenever he is dead or on another part of the map because if you two have a smiting match, 95% of the time, you're going to lose, so stay on your toes, counter gank as much and possible and try to disengage his snowball whenever possible.
Elise
Very strong early game jungler. She has a decent clear and sustain, but her early game damage is going to burst you before you can get your lethal tempo up. Try to counter gank and dodge her cocoons if possible. Wit's end will be good here.
Taliyah
Very dominant jungler right now. try to play around your team and dodge her cc ability. If you manage to do this, then you have my permission to flash on her and tear her up. She does have a lot of kiting potential though so if you don't have flash, do not fight her.
Evelynn
Smack the **** out of her early game. She isn't very strong in the early levels and if you play it right, you can but her really far behind by continuously invading her and taking her experience. The longer it takes her to hit 6, the farther ahead your team gets. If she does get ahead though, stack MR and try to fight her when her charm isn't up.
Rengar
It all depends on his build. If he does goredrinker, you should be able to destroy him. If he goes lethality, be careful and try to put him behind in the early game. He is a feast or famine champion, so if he gets behind, he won't have much impact in the game.
Ekko
He will outkite you and he will outscale you. Try and take him down before he hits 6 because unless he is braindead, you're not going to be able to kill him.
Fiddlesticks
It all depends on if you can catch him. His fear is a hard disengage and will possibly outheal your damage if he builds right. Try to catch him off guard and try to put him behind as much as possible.
Skarner
He has very good CC and good damage. You should be able to out duel him, but teamfights are basically a death sentence if he catches someone out.
Kha'Zix
If he scales or gets ahead, games over. Unless you have a team who can lock him down, he is going to outduel you because he has good dueling and his ult buys time to reset you passives and lethal tempo. He is weak early so this is the best time to kill him.
Shaco
Annoying but otherwise useless champion at the moment. His boxes and invis might be annoying, but keep always have a sweeper up and some control wards if you plan on trying to kill him. If he jumps over a wall, let him go.
Gragas
My best friend's main, and I can safely say gragas isn't much of a problem. He has good disengage, but if you stack MR like you're supposed to, he won't be much of a problem. Just keep an eye out for when his dash stun and ult are up
Jarvan IV
Stay on your tows with J4. He has a strong early game and a good engage. If he ults you in a teamfight and you don't have flash, you might die. That being said, you also have a strong early game. All depends on skill and if you manage to dodge his knockup, you should be able to kill him easily.
Hecarim
You duel him very easily in the early game unless he takes ignite. If he does, try and either bait it out or avoid him. If he doesn't, find him, and kill him when he's not looking. Try and kill him before he uses e, otherwise you can't catch him.
Lee Sin
You should have no problem with dueling him, the problem lies in whether you can retaliate to his ganks. He is a very strong early game jungler, but if you manage to play it right, you should be able to kill him just fine.
Master Yi
kill him any change you get. If he wants scuttle, kill him. If he wants dragon, kill him. If he wants his own camps, **** him up. You put him behind and he wont be able to catch up unless your team is braindead.
Lillia
She will outkite you, and she will slowly shred you if you can't catch her. One of the rare cases where I would take blue smite. Try not to let her get ahead and make sure to use any leads you get.
Jax
He is one of the kings of dueling. What makes him so hard to heal with is his counter strike. It bypasses your whole kit basically, and if he gets ahead, you probably aren't coming back. He isn't particularly strong atm but I would dodge if you think it will be a good Jax.
Graves
If you main this champion, go ahead and close out this tab, because I hate you. I have seen people taking galeforce on him, so he might be harder to catch, but if you manage to get your hands on this piece of ****, I want you to make him suffer. Invade any chance you get. Put him behind and make him regret queuing up.
Rek'Sai
Reksai is a very strong early game jungler. You will have to be careful with how you play the early game, but to my knowledge, you should be able to duel her if you are a level ahead, assuming you did your full clear. Try to countergank but try not to duel her unless until you get a few items under your belt.
Yuumi
If you have one of these things, you're aren't going to die. As long as she's going mana regen and cdr, you're basically unstoppable.

Hello, my name is Schadenfreude and I have been a Plat jungler for 2 seasons now. I have been playing Udyr since season 6, so I am confident with my knowledge of how Udyr works, both pros in cons. Season 11 has been a pretty good year for Udyr. He has finally found a decent spot in the meta and I don't see riot nerfing him anytime soon. This build is something that I saw a high elo player use and I have found huge success with it. I haven't seen anyone use this build other than him or I, so I decided to let post this build on here, along with my thoughts on why they go this build and how it works. Keep in mind, I am only a plat player, so I am only decent at the game, but I do believe that if you love Udyr as much as I do, you will find huge success with this build.
