Feel free to call me Dannie, I've been mono Annie since 2019 and today I have 2.4kk Annie mastery points (being top 11 in Annie mastery on the BR server and 125 worldwide).
In addition, I have already reached milestones above Annie's top 100 in Brazil. Today I am in the top 106 and I am a platinum player, but I think I have a lot of baggage about the champion and I want to share it with those who are interested in evolving in the game using Annie.

We all know that in patch 12.10 we had a significant change to champion durability, making explosions and bursts difficult.
As we know, Annie is a champion who practically identified herself as an explosion mage and with the arrival of these changes, the gameplay with Annie has undergone some changes.
The content in this guide focuses solely on these changes and the new scenario Annie faces with the durability patch.

Currently I practically choose these 3 mythical items in my builds with Annie:

Luden's Tempest:

For games with a lot of squich or carry composition.
Ludens can help kill these enemies easily.

Liandry's Anguish

For games with a lot of tank and/or bruiser composition
Liandrys will allow you to deal damage based on enemies' health.

Crown of the Shattered Queen

For games where you will have a difficult starting game
Especially against champions that abuse your lack of range or against champions that blow you up too easily

Let's talk about itens that I consider super important in Annie's builds.

I will separate them into 3 parts:

- Itens that synergize well with the builds;
- Core itens;
- Situational itens.

ITEMS THAT SYNERGIZE WELL WITH THE BUILDS:

Mejai's Soulstealer

I think Mejai's Soulstealer is a perfect item for Annie as it greatly enhances the champion's ability power with her stacks. In addition, the passive that adds 10% of movement speed greatly benefits the champion.

Shadowflame

Shadowflame synergizes very well with Annie due to the magic penetration the item has on her passive. It's a great item to build in situations where enemy champions have a considerable amount of magic resistance and also against heavily shielded comps. the item also features good base health attributes and ability power.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter

Rylai's Crystal Scepter is an item that synergizes very well with Annie, but only in her builds that contain Liandrys. With the Slow that the item gives to your passive, it is much easier for you to chase your enemies, in addition to greatly benefiting the aura of Tibbers, being able to make him apply very slowly to the enemy who will also be suffering from the burning of the aura snorted with the Liandry.

Cosmic Drive

I consider cosmic drive also great for Annie mainly because of her attributes. I think it's a very complete item as it gives considerable amounts of health, ability power, movement speed and CDR. In addition to presenting a very good passive with movement speed.

CORE ITENS:

Void Staff

Void Staff is an item that I think is PRIMORDIAL for Annie, I do it in every build regardless of whether or not there is magic resistance on the enemy team, because I think Annie synergizes a lot with magic penetration, her damage is simply absurd with this item.

Rabadon's Deathcap

Rabadon's Deathcap is the item that provides the most ability power for any AP mage or champion build. I usually do this as a final item for adding 35% of the skill's power to be as big as possible, and I also think it's PRIMORDIAL for Annie.

SITUATIONAL ITEMS

I consider Annie's situational items to be the same as most mages.

Banshee's Veil if you need greater magic resistance against enemies

Zhonya's Hourglass if you need more physical damage resistance against enemies

Morellonomicon if you are in a lane where the opponent has a lot of sustain (Vladimir, Sylas, Swain etc) and/or in situations where the enemy composition has a lot of sustain.

Also consider using if you are in a bad early game against a champion that has a lot of AD damage (usually from Assassins) and if you are in the same situation but against a champion that has a lot of AP damage.
