My recent match with Vayne on 12/24/2014

Hello summoners! My name is Miggy and welcome to my Vayne guide! Now Vayne is by far one of the best if not, strongest ADC's in the game. She may have a weak early game but then late game she becomes a threat which you might wanna avoid. So join me as I guide through the Night Hunter

Like every champion Vayne has some Pros & Cons

P R O S
-Has insnae damage with W
-Late game hyper carry
-A really high skilled cap champion #GosuPlays
-Can win a 1 V 1 against another ADC
-Tumble is useful for escape and in team fights with stealth passive

C O N S
-Very weak early game, be aware of early game bullies
-High skill cap = Hard to master
-Confusing to use Condemn

I take 3 Attack Speed Quints, for faster farming and to get the Silver Bolts passive even quicker, If you want to add 1 Attack Damage Quint go for it but I reccommend more Attack Speed. The flat armor is for more defense against the other ADC's considering Vayne is considerable squishy. The MR is when your enemies support is a AP Support such as a Sona, who can easily poke you with her Q so better becareful

As for levelling up Vayne skills I go on a similar like other Vayne players.

I usually max my W first, then Q second. The reason for this is because maxing Q first is just gonna give you more mobility and not the damage, so I suggest maxing W first. Put a point in my condemn at Level 3 and as always put a point in Final Hour at 6,11,16.

Heal Now heal is very useful now, it can really save you and your support. Make sure to use this spell at the right time, when both you and your support are extremely low health, Dont use it when you have low health and the support has full, it will just be a waste. You should just go back to base to avoiding to use it.


Barrier I remember when this was useful back in Season 3, this spell is still useful but it's like the greedy version of Heal Only you're saving yourself. But if you think you're confident of not letting your support die then I suggest you take this.


Flash Flash is used for every ADC's this really useful for escaping crowded situations.

MAIN CORE

The thing I always get first when I play Vayne is Blade of the Ruined King. This is a must-have on Vayne as always. The life-steal and attack speed gives Vayne a really big power spike, with this item active it's easier to 1 V 1 ADC's because it increases the Silver Bolts damage.

So for the second item, you might wanna try get Boots only and you can finish it to Berserker's Greaves as a 3rd item. The second I would get on Vayne is the Statikk Shiv, now I know what you're thinking..."Why not Phantom Dancer?" Well as personal preference I think the Statikk Shiv is better in my opinion. The reason for this is it is way cheaper than what a Phantom Dancer costs by 300 gold, the wave clear is really useful for pushing lanes and more farm for Vayne So its your decision if you want to get the Statikk Shiv or the Phantom Dancer

Offensive

So once you have those Attack Speed done. You go for the damage. Which means more Reckoning. So I usually get the Last Whisper for tanks such as Shyvana, your gonna need that as 4th item because Vayne can shred tanks even more better. After that you're 5th item, you get the Infinity Edge For more damage and for more critical strikes and it goes well with [statikk shiv]] crits.

Defensive Items

So for your 6th item you're gonna get something defensive. A Banshee's Veil and a Guardian Angel is a must on all ADC's and the resurrection passive can help with finishing off teamfights. Its always important to have a defensive at the late game.

Now Vayne against a Caitlyn is gonna be 10/10. You may know why, I gave it a 10/10. First of all, Caitlyn has a really long range of 650 and she can easily out poke you, the safest bet for you is to just farm, cause you scale way better in the late game than her and make sure you dodge here Piltover Peacemaker cause thing does a lot of damage and it gets really annoying for you in the laning phase. Also her Yordle Snap Trap is a death zone for Vayne so becareful.


Ashe 9/10. Now similar to Caitlyn Ashe has more range than you as always. Now all you have to do is dodge her Volley because that hurts. And make sure that you don't get harass with Frost Shot Cause once you get kited you're dead. CC is her weakness.
