Vi has great engage potential with q and ult letting her initiate favorable fights in bot lane.Normally this would be more ill advised as Vi due to her more Squish nature, but we can itemize aginst this while still dealing some damage with E.

You opperate much like leona, alistar or any other engage support.use you relic sheild stacks for gold and wait for good engage opportunites.Always be confifant about you engage all long as you can get some form of a trad out of a Q it was worth.If you bot lanes not great for engage you can roam and gank due to her actually being a jungle champion.

Some tips for lane

Sometimes engageing is not even necessary as some people will back off when you charge a Q.

You can always flash while using q to close the distance

You can Q to close the gape and then R and when your Q is max it should be up again
