Hello all, this is my first time i will be giving a speech about a guide, which i feel fits just right. So, let us begin... Roar.

For runes, i take those, which are tanky, due to the melee char type and longer CD. Keep in mind you are not in any GOD MODE, but it will help you to get frenzy to deal a bit more dmg early on, and sustain you at lane. The reason whi i took so much magic resist is that often u have either high ap ration enemy champs at start, or champions just do dmg as magic. So it will prevent you from getting harassed pretty much by f.e zilean's bombs.

As in the runes champter. I also built him tanky, for extra health, armor, resists, and all that stuff a tanky champion needs. You can choose, to adjust it a little bit here, and there... it's really up to you, cause the new masteries give us possibilities to make variety of builds. So i am not saying this is the best one, but it's been working for me.

To make a long story short, i think that the warmog is a must, due to a lot of hp, and the extra dmg from "frenzy". To be honest the rest is up to you. Depending on who you play with, and againts, as well as having the advantage or disadvantage. But keeping the cd lover surtenly benefits!! So keep that in mind, when visiting the shop.

As always it is a matter of choice. Depending on who you lane with, and who you are up againts - sound familiar? :P Frenzy is the best skills, so you ought to max it 1st. I prefer slow second due, to the % of slow each lvl u gain.

For spells i take Heal and Cleanse. The reason why I take those ones it just that Heal gives u more survivability, and helping out a team mate. And Cleanse is so way better now, than in season 1. So, not to be stopped and do what u need to do, use cleanse and off you go :) It also helps u run away from any rammus taunts, or nasus slow.

Hope you will enjoy playing Volibear, as I am. I prefer him as a tank and a bit of support, than a typical dps champ. But hey, this is not the only option for him, i am sure :)
