Why this build?

Yasuo is generally accepted to be the perfect example of a "feast or famine" or "hit or miss" champion. What if doesn't have to be that way?

Yasuo is a frustrating laner to play against. With the mobility that he has for his e, his ability to poke kite with q, and of course, a windwall that allows him to block every projectile in the game. He also has the potential to constantly crowd control and harass the enemy team. However, with the "meta" or typical Yasuo builds, he lacks the ability to stay alive... and a dead Yasuo is a useless Yasuo.

So how does this build change anything?
Yasuo is known to be a squishy melee "adc". He has very high damage output and has the potential to 1v2, 1v3, or even 1v5. He definitely has the damage, but if crowd controlled, usually ends up dead in a split second. However, if you are a real Yasuo fanatic, you may recall the "Frozen Force" Yasuo that existed a while back, a build created by the Challenger EUW Player ArKaDaTa. The build was revolutionary because it allowed for Yasuo to be played completely different. Instead of the usual full damage Yasuo who doesn't have the tankiness to tank the turret or avoid getting bursted down, he was able to dive the turret like a Tryndamere but have to mobility to also get out.

This build relies on three main factors. Mobility, Tankiness, and Sustain.
Yasuo is already known as a champion that may have the most mobility in the entire game of League of Legends. Why don't we bring this to its maximum potential? Let's take a look at what every item does.

Phantom Dancer - There is no replacement for phantom dancer. 60% crit allows for Yasuo to duel anyone from a squishy target to a tank with the armor penetration he receives with his ultimate. 45% attack speed allows for a much shorter q cooldown, and being an auto attack reliant champion, attack speed is crucial. 5% Movespeed is underestimated. Have you ever had that moment when you were running away from a Yasuo but he just somehow seemed to get closer and closer? 12% damage reduction - Self-explanatory, reducting 12% of the damage you are taking when dueling someone can mean the difference between a kill or not.

Trinity Force - Let's take a look at the 3 components. Phage - This item is huge. It gives you movement speed, some flat hp, and some ad. Overall, a great item. Sheen - Yasuo spams his q over and over, and allowing for buffed autoattacks allow poke that much better and take turrets that much faster. Stinger - Attack Speed on Yasuo? Can't turn it down.
Tri-Force is an amazing item that's underrated on Yasuo.

Frozen Mallet - Lots of HP, some AD, and allowing you to slow with auto attacks? This item can mean the different between you surviving a burst combo or chasing down a target.

Ninja Tabi - This one is situational, and can be replaced with Mercury Treads if need be. It allows you to take 10% less damage from autoattacks, and that's excellent.

Zzrot/Ohmwrecker - Alright. Zzrot is self explanatory. Movement speed around turrets, tankiness, and tower pressure? A great buy in the right situation. Ohmwrecker. The most underbought item in the entire game. However, it's perfect for us. Tower diving potential while granting movement speed and armor? Can't say no to that.

Spirit Visage - As you have noticed, we don't build any lifesteal at all. This build is 100% reliant on you using your keystone well. Getting a 30% bonus to a late-game Warlords Bloodlust can mean the difference between surviving or not. Magic Resist and HP on top of that makes this item a great buy overall.

Okay. That's it for now. I hope you enjoyed the guide and I would appreciate any feedback that I get from anyone. If I miss anything please let me know! This is my first guide on mobafire so I definitely might make some mistakes. Thanks!
