Champion Build Guide
Intro
Hello there, I'm OneMustFall and I typically play a lot of off-meta champions in the top lane. In this guide, we'll be looking at Sivir in the top lane.
This is a WIP guide for Sivir Top. Up top, Sivir is basically going to be a fighter/bruiser. With her core items, she is very difficult to kill especially for AD champions. While her damage is no where near her typical squishy ER build, she does a comfortable amount of damage with BOTRK and later items that she can easily carry games. Because she's so difficult to kill with double SS's and high Armor/MR, typically teams are forced to ignore you or waste so many resources trying to kill you that your team rolls over them. This preseason also has added some changes to the Precision of Mind rune which makes the PTA/Resolve tree viable and Edge of Night which goes well with the bruiser identity we're pursuing here.

Early Game/Laning Phase
Early Game
Starting early game you're going to be focusing on poking and farming. I advise being conservative using your Q as it uses a ton of mana. If against champs like
Darius or
Garen, you want to constantly harass them and try to keep them from farming. Chances are good you'll get first blood if they sloppy cause your Q damage is very deceptive and can lure these kind of champs into a false sense of security. You're most likely going to get ganked first so keep the river warded and don't overextend, especially if your E is on CD and you're low on mana.
First back should be either Mana Crystal and
Boots or
Sheen if you can afford it. At that point, you want to start itemizing against your laner. Are they AD or AP? Is the Jungler AD or AP? If both Top and Jg are AD, go right for
Iceborn Gauntlet and then Ninja Tabis. If one is AD and the other is AP, get
Sheen but then build
Black Cleaver. If it's both AP you're going to grab Mercury Treads as well. But get
Iceborn Gauntlet third regardless cause the slow it provides is insanely useful.
Hopefully you're winning lane and are a few kills up on your laner and you start going for their turret. However if you've fallen behind or are getting camped by their jungle, play ultra conservatively and focus on just farming to get your core items.
Sivir has great waveclear so she can stall the lane and prevent the enemy laner from ever taking her tower. Be aware of dives and keep your E ready. Sivir is very difficult to dive but if you see their mid rotating up to join in and you're all by yourself, abandon ship and let them take turret.
If you do get FB turret, keep pushing top until their inner turret is pushed and then rotate to take mid. A lot of times this opens opportunities for Rift Herald to be grabbed as well so take advantage of that as well. Sivir does well early so push your advantage and try to win your lane and get the CS advantage.
