Many people like to debate about whether AP Yi is better than AD Yi and which of the two would be viable or not, so I thought I combine these two and create something in between:
AP: AP Yi does great damage early game with his alpha pokes. With the correct runes and an early Dorans, AP Yi will have an easy time farming against even ranged poke champions. Early Rabadons and Zonya's will enable you to benefit more from the Meditate during mid game against other champions. While this build is somewhat late mid game, if snowballed well, this could enable you to get into a quick late game build.
AD: AD Yi usually have a hard time farming early game, since Yi is, after all a melee champion. However, if having the correct items, his ultimate's attack speed increase, paired with life steal items would make Yi a great melee/assassin champion late game, especially when paired with Nashor's Tooth, and the stacks on Guinsoo's.
Hybrid: these items give Yi great AP numbers, along with the runes, which will give Yi an awesome initial burst damage. And during the fight, a nicely timed meditate will help you to survive attacks. Then, if they are not dead, you can still benefite from Guinsoo's unique passive and be able to continually have some sustain during the team fights.

I by no means say this is the best build for Yi but I just wanted to try to have a hybrid Master Yi guide and hope to get you guys' opinion. I didn't go into depth on a lot of explanations due to the fact that there are many better guides than this, and I hope you guys can give constructive criticism. Thanks
