Currently, on patch 8.11 Yasuo is one of THE best champions in the game if you can control yourself and learn when to go for the kill and when to abstain from a brawl. Yasuo wins nearly EVERY mid lane match-up with the top lane being somewhat more difficult as he doesn't have the raw strength of the bruisers occupy that turf. Being able to properly access the match-ups and timings you can take any lane by the scruff of the neck and drag your team through a game, with a few exceptions to keep in mind.

Generally, the longer a game goes on the stronger Yasuo gets, the only problem is that a lot of people aren't able to control themselves with all that power and end up running it down mid. Before a fight takes place, have a deep breath, find the easiest target who also has a high priority and focus them, making sure you're in a position to get in and out or at least trade effectively which will also put your team in a good fighting position.
