Introduction and Summary (More will come soon)
Well, I'm here to introduce you to Yi, The Hybrid Jungler.
I've found that this build/playstyle actually works very well, in all three game sets (early, mid, end).
Well, here we go.
Pros:
-Extremely fast at jungling, especially with the combination of his Q and Madred's Razor's.
-Able to do pretty good ganks even before Lv.6
-Quite tanky while having 300 AD, and roughly 100 AP (1.0 Ratio on Q, 1.4 on W).
-Amazing heal/tank potential with Meditation, with the AP from Guinsoo's and Hextech, it's quite ridiculous.
-Lv.8/9 you'll have about 192-230 dmg... that's a lot.
Cons:
-Able to be cc'ed down and killed fast, unless you get a QSS (always should).
-Has no slows/stuns, and is not able to track down an enemy in a gank.
-Lv.8/9 you'll have about 192-230 dmg... that's a lot.
I've played a total of 14 games with this so far on and off, this specific build seems to work very well and many people don't really know how to counter it due to this not being the usual Yi build, which contains mostly attack speed.
Whenever counter-jungling, make sure to never even attempt to counter jungle if the jungler you're countering has a lot of cc (Udyr, Olaf, Lee Sin). Otherwise you can counter pretty hard. When you engage in teamfights you'll want to stay somewhat hidden off to the side so that most of a team's CC is used on your tankier allies, once you see a few stuns/snares go off, charge in Highlander a blazin', use your Q and activate your E as soon as you finish your Q and watch the double and triple kills stack up.
Known hard-counters to this Yi build:
Jax
LeBlanc
Annie
That's all I've found so far, none of the others really stand a chance when in a team fight with Hybrid Yi.
and this is where I will end this guide until it gets more popular, and I recieve tips and pointers at making guides, as this is my first one.
Thanks, and enjoy Yi, The Hybrid Jungle.
