Currently Gold 4 stopped climbing to rank smurfs up, plat level jg/top/mid, I play a lot of Yi, Zed, and Riven. I've been playing since the end of season 3 and beginning of season 4.

Why play yi

one of the most braindead champs in league that if they get slightly ahead it is an absolute stomp that you don't require any team to win if you play well in micro and macro

why crit didnt it get nerfed

crit yi will always be good he is absolutely bonkers with it, you can swap shiv and ie with pd and essence reaver and do equal dmg tbh
