Zed is one of the most played champions in the league, but most of the players do not understand him, they think that zed is just an ordinary champ, with ordinary abilities... That is a huge lie, zed kills, backs out and vanishes into the darkness, he does not care if it is 1v1 or 1v5, he will always get a kill and vanish (if you play him right), so if you think that zed is a special champion and he is your main, read this guide and kill even the best!

For runes i take attack damage x9 armor x9 magic resist x9 and attack damage quints x3, I also think that life-steal is a good starting rune, but they nerfed it so attack damage is much more viable.

Pros
1) High damage
2) Can kill squishy targets very quickly, even tanks in late game
3) If played well no champion can counter him
4) Great escape
5) He is a fuc*ing assassin

Cons
1) Small health bar, means if focused will be killed quickly in team-fights
2) Kayle and lissandra are hard counters, so ban them if you are first pick
3) He looses 1 hp for each other assassin in the team xD

Ult, e to slow down then q, after that botrk, do some basics, if flash then throw w, kill then back by pressing r.
Pre-6 throw w, slow (e) then q, swap places a few basics and back out.

Zed is amazing at farming, just basic a 50% lower hp minion and dead. Farm is much more important than killing and loosing farm, just farm and farm, aim for 220 for 20 minute!

In teamfights do not engage first, let the tanks attack, you stay behind, then if you see an opening run through it, through your w of flash, ult the carry (AP or AD), damage as much as you can and back out with your ult. DO NOT DIE. Your role is killing the squishy champions, not starting a fight or hitting the tanks, only focus carries.

Zed is not easy to play, working hard and practicing a lot will get you there, but the road is full of light and we need darkness to win, so put on your headsets, turn off the light and emerge from the darkness...
