Skills
W: Zed places a shadow that stays for 4 seconds and mimicking any spells casted, Zed can reactivate to swap places with shadow
E: Zed and his shadow spin their blades, the shadow spin slows enemies.
R: Zed leaves a shadow behind and dashes to the enemy champion, marking them for death, dealing a percentage of the damage Zed has dealt while the mark was active. If target dies, Zed gets a portion of their AD.

This would help you get away from champions with CC that can turn out lethal like AhriIt would honestly help you against champs who has healing like NidaleeI really love GA on Zed as it gives you a second chance basically and also has AD nowI sometimes build black cleaver on Zed as it has some nice benefits and also gives some tankinessThis would help you kill a lot of duelist and tanks in a 1 v 1 scenarioBasically, an after effect for the adc if your ult doesn't kill them alreadyI like this item because it gives you some tankiness, now you can help in teamfights even moreWhen you have to be tanky and splitpush at the same time, build this!This might be the difference if your screen would turn grey or not!Basically the banshee's veil but the AD version and lesser CD.Very essential! Would help you catch up against adcs or targets with high mobility.

Good Champion Overall?
Yes! Zed is a great champion! So much fun to play and has so much potential to make a outplay.
Good Champions To Climb With?
Low elo, Yes! High elo, No! Basically because low elo is more mechanics wise and high elo has better game knowledge, in high elo, they would just shut Zed down with CC. Not impossible to climb with in high elo though!
Is there better mid laners?
Of course! Cass, Ori, Zyra etc etc. They have game changing ults while Zed only targets 1 person.
Everything In Summary
Zed is indeed a very interesting and fun champion to play with. However, he is made to take people out in isolated environment and I don't think you will have an easy time playing Zed in high elo. There are far way better mid laners than Zed. I recommend you pick him up but never go to him as your reliant pick. Peace!
