Hi everyone, I'm Aono, and this is my first Guide on Mobafire and it is about the new Champion Zed. I worked hard to make a good guide and I would aprreciate some feedback that you guys may provide. If there are any mistakes tell me in the comments.
Note that this guide is aimed to play him in ranked games, providing awesome damage but also survivability. Enjoy

• Greater Mark of Attack Damage: The bonus Attack Damage these provide will make your damage ouput early insane and thanks to the passive of Living Shadow scale great into lategame
• Greater Seal of Armor: Giving you a little survivability in the laning phase
• Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: Provide some nice Magic Resistance for lategame as you will be one of the maintargets
• Greater Quintessence of Strenght: For the same reason as the Marks

Flash: Let's you double jump combined with Living Shadow


Ignite: Provides extra damage to finish off enemies


Exhaust: Useful against strong bullies and in Teamfights

• Contempt for the Weak: This passive makes lasthitting a piece of cake. Adds 6/8/10% of the targets Max HP as magic damage on an auto attack when the target is below 50% health (once within 10 seconds on the same target).
• Razor Shuriken: Your main harrassing tool as you can spam it from a safe range.
• Living Shadow: This is my favorite ability of Zed. It's passive gives you 5% increased Attack Damage for every time you level it up. On cast you summon a shadow in any direction you want which mimics your other skills (can be tricky with Razor Shuriken so you might want to practice this first). Can be Reactivated to switch position with the shadow (hence a free flash).
• Shadow Slash: On activation deals a nice amount of AoE damage. Also if your Shadows [[Shadow Slash] hits an enemy he will be slowed
• Death Mark: You dash to your target enemy and cast a shadow behind him and mark the enemy. The mark will explode after 3 seconds and deal high amounts of damage.

Max out Razor Shuriken first as it is our main damage tool. Next is Living Shadow as it gives us more damage on everything we do due to its passive. We invest one point early in Shadow Slash for the slow but max it last.

• :If your enemies got high cc or/and strong magic damage use these
• : If the enemy team doesn't have high cc and their AP carry didnt get fed then the Ninja Tabi should be your choice
• : Provides you with a slow on each hit and makes you survive way longer in fights
• : More damage and sustain. No explanation needed!
• : You get focused alot? Not anymore
• : That's a nice amount of extra AD and you get a spellshield
• : Armor pen, Cooldown reduction and a nice active ability
• : In case your enemies stack armor sell the Ghostblade and get Last Whisper to mow them all down

In a teamfight you want to go for the squishy high damage targets first. Close in with your Livingshadow if you are a bit too far away, then use Death Mark on the enemy you want to burst down. While the mark is upon your enemy use Shadow Slash to slow the enemy to make sure you hit with your Razor Shuriken. Now the mark will trigger and add ridicolous amounts of damage to your foe.
