This is a guide to Ziggs
lets get some things clear:

  1. Ziggs is not an assassin so if you want burst - go some were else.
  2. Ziggs is "Stay away from trouble and Peel from afare"
  3. Ziggs is easy farm and stay away from trouble.
  4. Ziggs is skill-shots only - so if you cant land em.. dont worry you can just try again and again and again this is the never OOM build.
  5. Ziggs is "you think you got away" think again my Q will reach you half a DBT (distance between towers) away
  6. Ziggs is "you think you got away" think again my R has 1/2 of the map as range.

Nothing much to say here - Ziggs is best played away from the fight so no need to take any of armor.

As an alternative you can choose scaling Runes, but the 12 extra at level 18 is not much worth compared to the more damge out of the box if you ask me.

Ap damage, is there any other way ?


This is for movement speed, magic resistance, magic penetration and MAX AP.

Since there is no such thing as magical critical damage there stay out of thouse, and since you whould not be in range for normal attacks i would stay out of thouse as well

I focus on early never OOM - so you can throw your Q Bouncing Bomb all the time and peel until easy gank.

Should you take Doran's Ring at first ? NO
2x Faerie Charm give you more mana, and since you are not bursting but peeling this is what you need

as soon as laning phase ends you should try to get Zhonya's Hourglass since it will save you if they come after you, give your team good time to come to help... or if all is dead to bring Q Bouncing Bomb and E Hexplosive Minefield off cool down and perhaps take some with you :)

Skill Sequence

Throw Q Bouncing Bomb every chance you get
Use E Hexplosive Minefield to farm and when danger is soon to come .. save it for blocking off enemies or if you cant get away throw it on you so they take damage coming to you.

Use W Satchel Charge to escape or to chase over walls. - Remember it will always blow you away from the satchel.

pretty fast your E Hexplosive Minefield will kill all mele minions and Q Bouncing Bomb will kill all caster minions so you can burn a wave with 2 spells and then 2 seconds after hoarse your opponent with Q.

Or you can just hoarse with Q and then when minions come close to tower use E to finish em.

Now if you just finish fast and you can see top or bot are in trouble you have 30 seconds until next wave come go help em - or go "check on the jungle" to make sure they are not stealing.. or if your jungler is fare away .. take wrath camp for extra cash it respawn fast.

Team Work

Stay away from the fight you have HUGE range on Q Bouncing Bomb
your E Hexplosive Minefield is perfect for making zone defense and helping your team get out.

Yes if you get closer you can ues E Hexplosive Minefield offensive but unless you are defending tower or inhib you should just throw from fare away.

Your W Satchel Charge can also be used to blow chasing enemies away from the chase.. cast it in front of your friend and when the enemy is behind it .. blow it so they get a small Gap but really your E Hexplosive Minefield is better.

Unique Skills

your R Mega Inferno Bomb can be used to farm a whole wave in 1 spell, from 1/2 a map away.

so your top lane had to get port back and now he is pushing tower... throw your R so it just touch your own tower, this will take out all minions, and damage the pusher, and then the tower will start to shoot at him, at least 1 perhaps 2 shoot , so when your friend returns he still have a tower and enemy is at 1/2 hp already :)

In a Zoning fight .. either deference or attack you should be constant throwing Q Bouncing Bomb at the other team every 2 seconds you will do 400 AOE damage.

Your E Hexplosive Minefield is perfect for blocking off attacks or separating the enemy team.

Your W Satchel Charge cab be used to keep them at bay, or to keep them in tower range, or even blow them into tower range.

Rember if you push a wave fast run to top or bottom and just peal 200 hp or even more off the other team even if warded your huge range will help you do that.

When R Mega Inferno Bomb is up Pay attention, should you Farm another lane if they are back and minions are near tower - or if they are pushing should you nuke the tower and peal some off enemy champ ? - R Mega Inferno Bomb can also be used to cut them off .. if they are running to safty and see your R Mega Inferno Bomb target, perhaps they stop to ensure team kill.

Or my favorite
after getting back to buy you might find lane pushed to tower, and the enemy hitting your tower.. now you place your R Mega Inferno Bomb so it will only just touch your tower and have most of the circle towards enemy tower, and BOOM all minions dead and enemy take 1-3 tower hits + damage from your R Mega Inferno Bomb so now you return with new items, to a lane were enemy is at 1/2 hp

[*] You can stay Fare away from other players
[*] you can farm minion wave with 2 spells (yes still after nerf.. just alittle more timing) either safe under your tower, or any place you like.
[*] He juggling bombs
[*] His Hexplosive Minefield can be used to prevent them from fleeing or chasing
